🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧
ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses - even just for a bit.
📽 What is FPC? 🎞
FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds - just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos - but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.

I can't tell if the soft thudding I hear in the background is the far away deep bass sounds of party music or the sound of my own heartbeat thumping in fear in my ears but I think that makes it all the better and more fitting for such a scenario. Such a subtle detail in the audio but it really adds to the scene.

I know you're portending Jim! Trying to convey a character that has nothing to do with how you really feel towards people. It's really called pretending but that's cosplay or insinuates as prank or gag. Portending is a new word I made up. Lets play along. Let's pretend I'm your ghostly grim reaper alien. Let's pretend I'm really a cyber punk vampire from 2072. I'm aware you must watch many shows and play video games to unwind and log ideas into your memory. Everyone does this at least it's stimulation and food for thoughts. Though Jim, you're the one that does something with it! Your the Artist, Creator, Writer, Prop fabricator and poet. You present your sacrifice every video in hopes that your comforting people like yourself. For everyone else...if you don't like it or have problems with Jim, He's a private man. We didn't go along coastal highway...it was |-5 thru L.A Bakersfield buttonwillow Sacramento Redding up the mountain to City of Mt Shasta. California. I had nervous breakdown after nervous breakdown doing navigation and my mother was stopping every 45 mins all the way there. At Bakersfield she goes down wrong access road into ,8 lane highway. She suddenly brakes and yells " Call ,911 I went the wrong way on the high way. We could not get out of Bakersfield ...everyone there was wicked rude...false directions if you could get any help at all. So we're stalled there with oncoming traffic as we didn't turn into it but we're frightened. I said just breathe mom,,, be patient. 1 minute later which seemed like a little eternity...there were no vehicles racing up the ,8 lane highway for miles. My mother then quick as shit took a hard right to go north on ,,,|-5 and accelerated to ,90 mph. " I just got to get us the fuck out of here,," We then drove through a dusty portion of the highway into the twilight. Finally nightfall and peace set in. We kept getting turned around in cornfields in Bakersfield. We were chewing on each others nutz the entire trip so far. Getting out of Hell Lay was no joke.. drivers are wicked aggressive and fast thru highway routes all day thru the city. Finally it was around 8 pm and we arrived at buttonwillow. Better than Bakersfield but it smelt like manure everywhere. Ranch life is what I smelt or farming community. They had a Super 8 We checked in fine. Everything was calming down. I got some Indian food to go from next to us. My mom doing the driving and I doing the navigation, serving snacks and icee drinks was not as tiring as driving for her. She went right to sleep. I would sleep soon and would not stay up much longer than her. Truly exhausted myself, but then it sounded like there were rats everywhere. Crawling all over the walls, rattling and fucking with the toilet smacking the lid all night. Pitter pattering with fat feet all over the floor and under my bed. I pulled the covers tight and tried to ignore the noise. I even checked out the walls restroom and under my bed... They would stop for 3 minutes...these ghost rats were everywhere.. I couldn't see them...only shadows everywhere I finally freaked out and woke up my snoring mother.. " I CANT GO TO MT SHADTA WITH YOU,! THIS ROOM IS TOTALLY FUCKING HAUNTED..." " IVE GOT TO GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE NOW...I DONT CARE ABOUT THE EXPENSE!" " IM GOING TO CATCH A ONE WAY FLIGHT HOME TO PHX!" She grumbled at me and said "sometimes it's just really just horrible plumbing in the walls." " I'm not going to sleep tonite....I'm just going to pray to God all night," Mother " oh you'll sleep,,, just take extra medication," I slept a little. Woke up to sewer roaches in my take out Indian food. 20 of them. We left got back on ,| 5 and next up was Sacramento...a really cool college city. Best motel 6 ever! We finally got to Redding and pulled into city of Mt Shasta.... "Mom I'm not😅jj
