🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧
ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses - even just for a bit.
📽 What is FPC? 🎞
FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds - just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos - but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.

Ahhh! I love an eye video. You know, I have my mother’s eyes…I keep them in jar on my dresser.😅 Maybe I’ll put my old set next to them after this “procedure.” (In truth, her eyes were donated after she passed away. Someone can see now because of her. Always consider organ donation)

What in the Angels of death is this. Dunno why but that was my first thought when I saw this video on my fyp. For those who are confused, Angels of death is an anime. And one of the villians in the anime is obsessed with eyes (he does some gory stuff to his "patients" and steals their eyes and stores them in a closet). Apologies for grossing people out but yeah, that was my first reaction to seeing this video.

This video gives me a pretty graphic but interesting idea for a video. There's a niche conspiracy thriller called Utopia Channel 4 made in 2013 and the first episode has one of the antagonists scoop a character's eyes out as a form of torture. This sounds really horrid now that I'm typing this out lmao but the scene itself was oddly relaxing? (I probably should be on some kind of list at this point)

Past 4am here and couldn't sleep, saw this had been on for 10 minutes. Perfect, turn it on! Uh huh...yesss..... mmnn....Yep! I see now. One of Jim's zany, psycho, torturer butcher chararacters.who revels in speaking in quiet, gentle tones to his victim (who actually IS strapped to a tripod) about the horrendous acts he is about to perform upon them. Such pointed, evil juxtaposition. Adding a twist of really twisted blackest humour to chill even further. I suspect the anaesthetic has already been applied to the vocal chords. Too insane, to have a victim have two eyes gouged while watching it all in gorey detail with the first and reliving the memory with the second. Then just release them outside into the traffic...no sight, no voice no identity. You can play the whole range of evil through to angelic characters Jim. You must be recalling heaps of past lifetime experiences in those dreams of yours, which you have mentioned inspire you. Now you're so polished.
