@@neomalele9449 as a south African myself, I must tell you that Zim education beats SA by far. Zim education is on a whole new different level. They can compete with Harvard, Yale and all those IVY leagues university because their education is just that good. Wits, UCT etc. Aren't really nothing. A Zimbabwean can actually get into an IVY league university without having to write any test whereas south African have to do all these TOEFL,SAT, etc. South African Education has nothing on zimbwean education. In Europe, Asia and America, Zimbabweans get first preference at university then maybe South African can be considered. Our university first year maths, they do that like in their second last year of high school which is why they are so good when they are in South African universities. Because the things we are doing in University, they did that in High school.

Zimbabwe education is low now as the best skills left Zimbabwe in search of greener pastures. Those who say Zim education is good are those countries who poorly educated before like Namibia during apartheid. Some fields of study were reserved for whites only like science and others. Blacks mainly did commerce, education or administration. That's why namibians say Zim is supposed to be but my rating is low of Zim education today. Surely, the factors that contribute to creating a good education system are numerous and varied. The Zimbabwean government is poor and the investment towards education is paltry. Having given all those cons, how the Zimbabwean system successfully producing the best teachers, engineers, medical doctors, accountants, lawyers etc. Is because of sheer natural intelligence, I don't think so. There is something about the Zimbabwean education system that makes it through even in such difficult times.

Zimbabwe sanctioned everywhere, nothing they do is recognized anymore, how can their education system go an appreciated, surely it's one of the best in africa because they have the most educated and literate people in africa. Most South African schools and universities employ Zimbabwean teachers and lecturers. Phd experts in most institutions in africa are Zimbabwean. Let's not be mislead by these western institutions doing research to discredit our own fellow African countries. Give credit where it's due.

Surely, you have never been in Zim. The Education system is 5.0 competence base curriculum. Most of what the African Universities offer as first year program would have been covered in secondary schools. It's not about bragging but factual reports.Afterall we are one, if someone says S.A has the best infrastructure, l should marvel at that. It will be silly to argue that there are some shanty houses in some parts of S.A. Zimbabwe is having it's fair challenges of political instability and economical turmoil which do affect the education system but it's the value the people attach to the education system that keeps the school doors wide open and the thirst that the local young people have for education.

Kenya historically dominated and zim was always behind Kenya, it was up until the end of 1994 when SA gained independence and the rest is history.
