Aftershow [S2, E6-12] - Heroes of Theros

Aftershow! So happy to hear y'all talk about the last few episodes! It is so cool to hear Conner talk about how Calen is taking all of the Klothys stuff! I am loving all the spinning theories about the symbol. Also, I fully agree that using sending instead of asking a god was so cool. Zane! Why do you do this to us! So many questions! Heaven help us all if you get behind the DM screen. Jefferson, wouldn't it be #suspiciouslyinconspicuouslyGood? Instead of #suspiciouslyinconspicuouslyevil? Or maybe I just got that all wrong. To answer the question asked of us (the comments section), the first mention of what would happen if baxor left is in the episode "old friends"#7. Around 6:15 Baxor says they are Phylaxia, and they hunt down "stray souls". Then at about 26:30, Kere talks about the Phylaxia. He says that if any of his patrons try to leave agonos, the Phylaxia can track them, and will hunt them down, rip them apart, and bring them back, or send them to their final resting place in Tiserus. (No clue if I spelled that right.) Also, looking back, I totally forgotten that Kere was expecting you all. There had been a rumor coming around of mortals in the underworld. Interesting then that Proteus hadn't heard the same. Definitely curious to see if that comes up again. Anyway, it sounds like if Baxor were to leave with you, or at all, he'd have a massive target on his back from gigantic skeleton fighters... And he definitely knew that. A painting of y'all's characters having tea together is definitely on my to do list now. That would be amazing. And besides, you Ner'no what your characters might get up to during a nice little party like that, especially on the banks of the Tardyx;) So cool to bring back the idea of reuniting Irois and Mojis via Adelphos and Theseus. It was cool dude get a solid ruling from Jefferson on the bident's abilities. Slumber party roleplay! I am fully on board for this. No pun intended. Or maybe pun intended. Not sure. PG D&D merch! We need Ner'no(if you know you no) stickers or something. Where did the joke about Tyson riding the whole thing originally come from? My favorite part of the last few episodes has probably been the bit with Calan and baxsor. It made me cry, but it was just so sweet. I dearly loved that, such good roleplay. Second favorite is probably the whole idea that you all spent an entire episode running away from skyscraper sized chains. Love you all!💕

Wow, thanks so much for this amazing in-depth comment! I would love to see Zane behind the screen, even for just a one-shot. I think if enough people were asking for it, then it might help convince him to give it a try ;) haha! But ya he would keep secrets to the end of a multi-year campaign if he needed to! haha! Thanks so much for all the time stamps and everything! This literally saved me. I guess that makes leaving Baxor behind sting a little bit less. Ya, I totally forgot that Kare was expecting us as well! I wonder who else knows that we are down in the underworld! Also, a lot of these words are crazy and I just make up spelling for them as well. I'm pretty sure only Jefferson knows how to actually spell most these words, so don't even worry about it. Haha! Yes! I love the Narano! haha Never let it go away, because you Narano what'll happen if you do. Haha That would make a great sticker or something! One of these days we will actually put together some merch! Shay actually just made a hat for herself and it is AMAZING! So we are slowly getting there, but we will for sure keep that in mind! The joke about Tyson writing the whole script came from an Aftershow in the first season. We actually use to have an Aftershow for ever episode that we would record right after we finished recording the episode, hence: "Where we talk about what we just did". In those Aftershows we would theorize a ton, especially Tyson. One day Jefferson made the joke that he was actually the one writing it all and it just kind of stuck haha Sadly, most of the aftershows got lost in the pipeline of editing and never got released. We are trying to go back an re-release them and season 1 all on KZbin though. It is a big project, but we haven't fully forgotten about them. I did love that conversation with Calen and Baxor though. It really was so great! Conner is able to do some really great and deeply emotional role play. It is really great to watch! Thanks so much for everything! And we love you too!

Been a minute since I’ve been able to make a comment, but I just wanted to say that as an unofficial continuity team member go rewatch the episode where the party first makes it to Aganos and there will be some answers for you. In the future though I will take bribes from the DM and party to gaslight on what happened during the episodes. One of my favorite moments was when Proteus was like ah yes I love both my sons equally Adelphos and *squints at smudged ink on hand* Titus… Good few episodes I do plan on going back and commenting! I love all the laughs and how much fun you guys have as friends. It was refreshing to get one of Zane’s characters to spill some back story! Keep that man talking! I love the Ner’Know! I was dead. Alondros never taking a hit, but almost running out of spell slots is so real with casters though! So funny 😂

Welcome back! It's been lonely without you! You can now officially be a part of the Official Continuity Team. Although, I may take you up on that offer one of these days haha! Haha that was so great! haha It doesn't matter how long we play these characters we will always mess them up here and there Haha But that is such a great way to see that go down! That is now cannon as far as I am concerned. I know! It's so great to finally have one of Zane's characters share their backstory with us! Haha But it is so true! At higher levels with spell casters, it is not so much what their HP is at, it's how many Spell Slots they have left. haha!

I really hope that Calen’s prayer to Crufix for Baxer works and he gets to at least not be in agonos. Klothis dying was like the shock of the century! And I’m SO intrigued to see what sort of abilities Calen has now because of her death, or if she’s just like attached to him like a parasite or something. Excited to see what happens! You narino whats gonna happen with Theseus…he definitely chose…poorly. 😂 All jokes aside I agree with Tyson in that there’s no ending where Theseus lives even if he’s saved. Being able to hear from actual Adelphos is probably my favorite moment of season 2 so far! I don’t think/hope that Vasalis participated in getting rid of Theseus either on purpose or with all the information because I truly believe Vasalis is not evil and would not do so knowingly.

I really hope so too! Baxor deserves to be in a better place! I think Klothis dying was a shock to all of us! But I am really excited to see where all that goes! Haha I love the Narano thing! Haha Plus, the Indiana Jones reference! Haha So good! I do agree though, I think no matter what happens Theseus probably won't make it out, but I guess we will just have to see for sure! I loved hearing form Adelphos too! That was definitely a highlight for me as well. I am very interested to hear more about Vasalis though. Zane finally has a character that wants to tell us things, this is kind of crazy!
