This episode showed the breaking point of Sam and Dean's relationship, due to Sam's need to feel stronger and Dean's damaged and broken down spirit, it was both awesome and tragic

The Rapture - that video's still blocked, so to answer your question about why Jimmy wasn't dead after Cas vacated the premises but demon vessels die - angels can heal; demons can't. When the Levee Breaks - HOLY CRAP! Dean and Sam fight for realsies. They've fought before this, but this was nearly a death match. Fracking Sam. Fracking Ruby.

Well technically Sam didn’t really beat dean because he has demon blood in him which is making him supernaturally stronger so it’s kind of like a demon beat dean who happens to look like Sam.

no it doesn't read beyond my spoiler SPOILER the demon blood doesn't actually do anything to sam aside from control him. we find out later that Sam like all the other psychics are born that way, Yellow eyes simply bled into their mouths as a way to control them. Ruby convinced sam that he needed the blood to be stronger but he didn't it was a means to create a placebo effect, sam would drink the blood and than he would use his powers he was told the more blood he drank the stronger his powers would get, once he did this enough it created a situation where it genuinely did help but only because he believed it did also the effects of his powers was not super strength. and the times that sam and dean fight seriously sam always wins

Hun they weren’t just fighting Sam TRIED TO KILL HIM because for once dean didn’t do something his way/what he wanted, he choose a DEMON over HIS OWN BROTHER in every sense of the way. Sam could have just left when dean was down on the ground he has already beaten him (only of course of the demon blood, u will never see this happening eve again because dean is million times the fighter Sam will never will be) but he then choose to SOAK him, choose to KILL HIM for no reason.

It's a bit more complicated than "let's blame it all on Sam". Dean has his own issues with Ruby here and he lets them come before Sam every bit as much as Sam does. He was the one who made ultimatums here: "her or me" and "if you walk out that door don't you ever come back". Sam asked Dean to come with them but it was Dean who chose not to. I would love it if people could acknowledge that whenever they start this whole "Dean chose a demon over his brother" thing, since it works the other way around too: Dean chose his own issues with Ruby before his own brother when he chose to stay behind. But I guess people won't, since the show itself has always hammered it down that it was all Sam's fault. We see everything that happens mostly from Dean's POV, but people forget he's not exactly an impartial and unbiased observer.

The ONLY (the ONLY ONE time) reason Sam beat dean is because he was high on demon blood, dam could never ever beat dean at anything, not fighting, not compassion for innocent people, not street smart or book smart, I think by now you know that. And this might have started as a fight but it ended up with attempted MURDER on sam's part
