Fight to save his marriage? I think you didn`t see the film. Rhett alway gave everything he had for that b...itch. And his reward was losing 2 children, losing a fortune in Scarlett cravings and whims and gaing a cuckold reputation because Scarlett obssession with other (married) man. The ending was, as a matter of fact, a happy ending. Rhett comes to his senses and leave that selfish, arrogant, rude, insensitive bi..tch.

It's an amazing book. I had a little trouble getting into it at first, (I was 17 when I read it) but agh, it's so worth it. And the movie is a cinematic classic and you must watch it, even if you never touch the book!

Just because someone apologizes doesn't mean they are wrong. They may apologize because it upset the person. Truth hurts & people get upset. When I watched this as a kid I was impressed by Scarlett now as an adult I think Scarlett is "STUPID" she had Rhett❤wrapped around her finger & then Rhett realized Scarlett was a waste of time😂
