Linkin Park was the first band which i listened to back in 2014 when i was 13. The band made me love rock music so much and also got me into nu metal. Their nu metal stuffs like numb, somewhere i belong, Crawling, runaway, one step closer etc were brilliant but i also love their alternative rock songs like what ive done, new divide, Burning in the skies etc. Even their underground songs like Across the line, pretend to be r brilliant. Chester's voice was just so awesome. RIP. Eventhough i listen to Korn, Avenged Sevenfold, Three days grace etc, Linkin park will always be the best band for me. Now i am a 19 yr old boy and still am a big Linkin Park fan.

As some one that came up on Thrash Metal and Hip Hop I loved Nu Metal and what it added to the Metal world. Of course the D&D crowd got pissed off because their were girls at the shows so instead of Cookie Monster lyrics and machine gun double kicks being something 25% of the bands were doing, the virgins decided that if you weren’t growling and they were machine gun double kick drums going off to the entire song then you weren’t metal and you can’t sit with us at our table . Papa roach sucked after their 1st cd, same with POD. They should not be top 10 or even top 30 for that matter. Slipknot and Korn are easy runners for #1 & #2. Solid bands still doin it 20+ years later and Korn sounds amazing in concert! No loss of voice or sounding different than their cd.
