Odegaard was on loan and went back to Madrid in the summet. Rumour was that Madrid wanted him, but he didn't get the opportunites from the Real Madrid manager at the time. At the time we was thirsty for crrativity and we would have had any standard number 10. But if there was an option choice then no doubt Odegaard would easily be first.

Ramsdale didn't deserve to be in that team by any reasonable Keeper metric. He was a midtier Keeper in terms of goals prevented Ironically, Raya was more deserving, and Mikel probably agreed. Raya was 3rd in goals prevented last season, behind only Alisson and Leno Onana wasn't even in the PL last year, so idk why PL Team of the Year is even a discussion point

Any one of Ederson, Ramsdale Alison or De Gea (based largely on the golden glove) could’ve got it. There wasn’t an out and out amazing keeper. Obviously bias but I’d say Ramsdale overall was th best in terms of how often he single handedly saved us points. The only other player you can say that for is Allison.

Just look at the numbers and KDB said and you talk about overall game what Bruno offers defensively is important. Plus I don’t know how you can put a guy in when he has one good season!? People acting like Bruno had a poor season as well he still had 16 goal contributions in the prem. Rashford and Martinelli it’s Rashford. If you go off last season he had 22 goal contributions in 35 games compared to Martinelli 20 in 36 games… James mentioned about not doing it often he did it 2019/20 2020/21 2022/2023 and he has had other season that have been decent such as 2018/19. Difference is Rashford will NEVER repeat what he did last season, Martinelli wil likely only get better. Bruno creates hella chances, but he does ONLY that. Ødegaard holds onto the ball better, higher pass sucess rate, is a better leader, more skillfull, and scored more and assisted more last season (yes in a better team, but not by much and he is several years younger). Onana has been at the club only a handfull of games and already has gotten chipped, should have gotten a 3 game ban, and what? managed 1 clean sheet against wolves?

Bruno is a creative machine as DeBryune says, his through balls now are immaculate and so is crossing. Excellent work rate as well from both players. Odegard imo is much at keeping the ball and dictating the tempo, even I'd say better at carries. Bruno has developed this bad habit of first time passing which is hit and miss (under by ole) and he didnt properly cook with a team to keep possession. His potential imo is more than Bernado imo, but Bernado is a level above.
