A possible striker option I never hear mentioned is Lautaro Martínez at Inter Milan. At 27, he has been ripping it up for years in Italy, was a low key Balon D’Or contender recently, and would work very well in Arsenal’s system. Some Arsenal fans might not like hearing this but I think Havertz would actually work very well playing off of a player like Martínez from a slightly deeper position as a second striker coming in from deeper positions playing against low blocks. I’m just throwing out Martinez’s name because I think he’s massively overlooked in possible striker conversations.

The biggest problem has always been that we can't create that Odegaad chance consistently when the opponent doesn't give us space. The so-called chances we created weren't that great TBH. We need to create more chances against teams defending like NC where we actually beat the defence, catching them out of place. Then we can talk about finishes. Otherwise, we'll rely on good finishes at the occasional lucky opportunity.
