100% agree. I don't think there's necessarily a ton of all-nba or even consistent all-star potential with this draft, but there's a lot of guys here who I think have a pretty high ceiling, while also having a pretty high floor. The fact that teams can be picking in the 15s and 20s and still basically be guaranteed a solid starter/roleplayer, doesn't sound like much of a week draft to me!

Get ready for a shocker, I think the Hawks will take Donovan Clingan with the 1st overall pick, I think Clint Capela will be moved, to where and for whom, I'm note sure. I think Clingan will be an upgrade over what they have at center, and Clingan will provide size and rim protection. I just don't see a world (where DeAndre Hunter, AJ Griffin, Jalen Johnson and Risacher on the same team, unless Hunter gets moved. This draft is messed up, first Sarr and now Risacher . I'll be lucky if I get any of my picks right in this mock draft I created today. 1) Atlanta- Clingan 2) Washington- Sarr 3) Houston (via BKN)- Risacher 4) San Antonio- Reed Sheppard 5) Detroit- Buzelis 6) Charlotte- Castle 7) Portland- Knecht 8) San Antonio (via TOR)- Rob Dillingham 9) Memphis- Ron Holland 10) Utah - Devin Carter 11) Chicago- Tidjane Salaun 12) Oklahoma City (via Hou)- Cody Williams 13) Sacramento- Tristan Da Silva 14) Portland (via GSW)- Kel'El Ware 15) Miami- Nikola Topic 16) Philadelphia- Jared McCain 17) LA Lakers- Zach Edey 18) Orlando- Kyle Filipowski 19) Toronto (via IND) - Isaiah Collier 20) Cleveland- Yves Missi 21`)New Orleans (via MIL)- Carlton Carrington- 22) Phoenix- Tyler Kolek 23) Milwaukee (via NOP)- JaKobe Walter 24) New York (via DAL)- Johnny Furphy 25) New York- Ryan Dunn 26) Washington (via LAC)- Jaylon Tyson 27) Minnesota- Bob Klintman 28) Denver- DaRon Holmes 29) Utah (via OKC)- Baylor Scheierman 30) Boston- Kevin McCullar this I think is the hardest draft to predict, and guessing who will go where and how each player will pan out is a crap shoot. Clingan could be Walker Kessler, or Steven Adams like, or possibly Alex Len.

@edw1n23 ай бұрын
@@russjordan6186 i think if anything will translate for Dillingham besides the athleticism, it will be his scoring. I haven't seen anyone better in this class at creating space and shooting off the dribble. I think he may legitimately have the highest ceiling in the draft aside from Sarr due to his insane athleticism and off dribble shot creation. With Sheppard, size is the sole concern. He's a flamethrower and has constant and effective off-ball movement and is a wildly effective defensive playmaker. With Sarr, I think he has one of the highest ceilings, but lowest floors. He's very contact averse and got bullied in the NBL while being unable to carve out a role where he could earn more than 14 or so minutes a game. I also can't unsee the disgusting things Aron Baynes and other bigs did to him in the NBL. Sarr is like a more defensively adequate James Wiseman. Crazy high ceiling, but when are they going to learn how to catch the ball? With Risacher, he lacks any semblance of shot creation and has only just recently been hitting 3s consistently, on a low sample size. I like his competitiveness, but outside of his shot, which may not be real given the small sample of him shooting well, he doesn't display any particular skills that stand out. He's just decent at several facets.

I feel like with the way basketball has progressed saying that it's a weak draft is disingenuous. I believe the bottom end talent on every college roster has probably markedly improved in the last 10 years. So the average player in this draft is probably the better than the average player of a draft 10 years ago. That being said, the top end talent isn't as extreme as it was. Maybe the last few drafts but the average star role player is probably still here like usual.
