I need Holmes at 28 man. Especially if KCP leaves, we can move Braun to the starting 2 (not ideal, but he's a really good defender, and Pwat is more of a 3 than a 2) then our bench can be Reggie (assuming we can't get an upgrade like Khris Dunn, or Delon Wright), Strawther, Watson, Vlatko and Holmes would be enough to keep us afloat during the regular season and get our starters rest

As a Raptors fan, Collier at 19 is a dream come true. In my opinion, and this might sound a little crazy, he will be the best guard in this draft a few years from now. Him and Quickley together in the backcourt is a little small, but both are great defenders for their size. The thing about Collier is that he can play next to Quickley, Scottie, and RJ because all of them are great off-ball too. Honestly as a spurs fan I like this. Both definitely need development but they have high upside. spurs need defense and I don’t think the spurs need to rush the rebuild by drafting an older more developed prospect right now
@garyleroy917 ай бұрын
Me as a Spurs fan; #4 pick is spot on, Stephon Castle fits into the Spurs perfectly because this team was bottom 3 in defense without Wemby. They do need a PG for the future to play alongside with him, Castle can develop like Kawhi did was focus on the defense first once he masters it then he can work on is offense. Overall, Stephon Castle at 4 is the right choice.
@garyleroy917 ай бұрын
The 8th pick, Salaun? I would not take him this high in the draft, he has the upside of shooting and defense. Buts are he is not much of a shooter and his footwork on defense raises questions to me. Me personally, I would draft Dalton Knecht because we need shooting and spacing, everybody says he plays no defense, but Coach Pop can help him in the NBA OR if they do trade, I will trade the 8th pick, Keldon Johnson, and Zach Collins to Brooklyn, for Cameron Johnson, and Nic Claxton. The reason is San Antonio want s to build around Wemby with solid veterans while Brooklyn can draft, their own needs and have a #1 round in this draft. thanks to us. Overall, I would draft Knecht than Salaun.
@josephboyd67577 ай бұрын
@@garyleroy91 I think knecht is good and all and definitely better right now but he’s already 23 and I don’t think he has as high of an upside, where Salaun is one of the few players in this draft that I think has some level of star potential. Yes, his footwork isn’t great, he lacks some defensive awareness, and his shooting is inconsistent, but he shows potential to grow in all of those areas. I’m all for trading Johnson and Collins and cam and nic are additions I would love but the spurs need more than just a few solid vets. They already had some solid vets this season and they still sucked. I don’t want to rush the rebuild because I don’t want to get stuck in the middle of the pack with no way out so I say draft for potential and long term like the thunder are doing now. I wouldn’t mind trading the pick down a few but I think we need to think long term and take some risks. We could always get a solid vet in free agency or in a different trade, but it’s hard to find someone that’s still young that could be a star in free agency or without overpaying for a trade. Knecht would be solid and i wouldn’t be mad either way but Salaun is like 1-2 spots higher on my board

As I sit here, surrounded by posters of the basketball legend himself, LeBron James, I find myself transported into a world where every dribble, every pass, every dunk is not just a moment in a game, but a heartbeat in my existence. For as long as I can remember, I've been captivated by the sheer brilliance and dominance of LeBron James on the basketball court. To me, he isn't just a player; he's an icon, a symbol of greatness that transcends the boundaries of the sport. My admiration for him goes beyond the realm of fandom; it borders on obsession, a devotion that shapes every aspect of my life. I love you Lebron, You are my sunshine. LeBron James isn't just an athlete; he's a force of nature. His unparalleled skill, combined with his unwavering determination and leadership, has redefined the game of basketball. From his early days as a prodigy in Akron, Ohio, to his ascent to superstardom in the NBA, LeBron's journey mirrors my own personal odyssey. I've followed his career with an intensity that borders on obsession, dissecting every game, every statistic, every move he makes on and off the court. I love you Lebron. To me, LeBron James isn't just a basketball player; he's a source of inspiration. His commitment to excellence, his work ethic, his philanthropy - all serve as a beacon of hope in a world filled with uncertainty. I've drawn strength from his resilience in the face of adversity, his ability to overcome challenges and emerge stronger than ever. In a way, he's not just my favorite athlete; he's my mentor, my guiding light in times of darkness. I love you. Being an obsessive LeBron James fan isn't always easy. It means enduring the highs and lows of his career, feeling every victory and defeat as if it were my own. It means defending him against critics and doubters, fiercely loyal in the face of adversity. It means spending countless hours immersed in the world of basketball, analyzing every aspect of his game with a level of scrutiny that borders on obsession. I love Lebtron. But for me, it's all worth it. Because being a fan of LeBron James isn't just about basketball; it's about being part of something bigger than myself. It's about connecting with millions of other fans around the world who share my passion and devotion. It's about celebrating not just the player, but the man behind the jersey - a loving father, a devoted husband, a champion both on and off the court. And con't forget about in the bedroom. Leberon Jameas is my dominating big daddy. In the end, LeBron James isn't just a basketball player; he's a cultural phenomenon, a symbol of hope and inspiration for millions of people around the world. And as long as he continues to grace the court with his presence, I'll be there, cheering him on every step of the way, an obsessive gooner lost in the shadow of greatness. You are my sunshine LeSunshine.

Dillingham outside the lottery is wild. I get the defense is bad but Dillingham easily has the third highest upside in this draft.Spurs taking castle as the lead guard of the future would be a disastrous decision they will regret before the start of next season. I think he will be a fine bruce brown type wing on the team but slotting him at PG will not bode well.

is it crazy to think ron holland should go number 4 to the spurs instead of stephon castle?

I’m still confused to why silver made the nba a two day event. If you’re gonna do that then make it a 3 round draft.
@Wrestle_Kingdom7 ай бұрын
Money it really that simple also gives 2nd round guys their own day because the original draft is very long
@JeffBird867 ай бұрын
@@Wrestle_KingdomI see what you’re saying and I get it. My thing is why not add a 3rd round especially since the nba draft is going to 4 pm the next day.
@Wrestle_Kingdom7 ай бұрын
@@JeffBird86 a 3rd round would do no favors for the nba or fans because people barley care about the second round also that means the nba would have to add 3rd round draft picks and that would be extremely hard to do changing everything Also then nba already have a certain amount of players on each team their just isn’t enough roster spots to have a 3rd round especially when most secound round picks don’t even get contracts and go to the g league so a 3rd round would be pointless
@JeffBird867 ай бұрын
@@Wrestle_Kingdom I definitely see your point . Let me ask you this, would that 3rd round become for valuable for the league should the league go to 32 teams?
@Wrestle_Kingdom7 ай бұрын
@@JeffBird86 they would have no choice but to add another round two rounds wouldn’t be enough to fill out 32 teams
