I started on Fruity Loops 2 but I thought it was only for drum loops. I became strictly FL user when FL 4 came out. On the Imageline site they had a pic of Kanye West using FL and I was a follower of his as a kid when he was known for producing. I think AIR is also infamous in making FLstudio popular because they made it so easy to crack in the early days. Thanks for making this video. You did good.

I discovered Anvil Studio in 2001 while looking for a drum machine. I was able to make simple loops and then used Cool Edit Pro for recording audio. I played around with Fruity Loops a couple of years later but I didn’t understand it. I finally got FL 8 and started really learning midi. I fell in love with it and I haven’t used anything since.

Same here. People used to tell me it was a toy, a gimmick then eventually they asked "wow, you made that on Fruity?". I had it since someone gave me fruity 3 on a data CD and said "try this". I decided to stop getting cracks as I grew up & began seriously using it & could make no excuses about not being able to afford it. To be honest, the lifetime updates alone should be enough of a reason to give this company your money as who do you see doing this, putting people over profit? Plus staying true to their word. I hope the founders are all millionaires!

This is so so so nostalgic. I started back in FL studio 4, got it on a CD and I was hooked. Most of childhood I would spend every single waking hour on that program, just fixated on creating melodies and inserting sounds. I still spend 90% of my free time on FL and could never see a reason to switch to anything different. The Daw is incredible, easy to get your ideas straight into place nearly instant, and it works flawlessly. All the updates they bring, are insanely good, and it really shows how much they care for their customers, and the music industry in general. FL has never dissapointed me, and watching this video gave me so much, so thank you for making this!

I started with Fruityloops 5.0 producer edition. I also am an avid fan of the piano roll. As a guitarist, I love note bending. In FL Studio, you can bend and vibrato notes for native plugins SUPER EASY thanks to the note-slide function. No other DAW can do this simple musical feat as efficiently.

This was pretty cool. I never really knew the history of the daw that I work in. I absolutely love the easiness of Fl. Compared to other daws like Abelton.

Fruity Loops 3 was the first version I used back around 2001/2002. I got a copy of it from some hip hop producer friends on a chat program called Paltalk. Still use FL to this day. Nice video! :)
