This show preimered in the late 80s (88 I believe). I was about 8 or 9 and grew up watching it. Bob was MY AFV host, and he's right, the show would not have been what it is without him. This show was KZbin BEFORE KZbin. RIP Bob.

Everything is going to be okay. Bob Saget's loved ones will be alright, even his real life family members. As for his friends that died, they are definitely not suffering anymore. They will be alright in another world anyway.

In 1994 I was a ten grand winner on AFV (for the "Sprinkler Cat"), and Bob Saget interviewed ME -- he even made comments about other videos that I had on AFV. So....I think Bob Saget was a SWELL fellah!

I honestly didn’t even know this show was still running. After my parents divorced, no matter which parent my sister and I were with we all stopped watching tv together. AFV had always been one of the shows on at night that we all waited for. RIP Bob, you definitely gave my family quite a few laughs.

I still can't believe that Bob Saget is gone. I'm still in shock. I remember as a kid growing up, I'd watch Bob on America's Funniest Home Videos and Full House. One of the best childhood memories I've ever had. Rest in peace, Bob Saget. Thank you for all the laughter and smiles you've given us over the years. You deserve it as much as we do. Long before the existence of KZbin, AFV was THE program to tune into for hilarious vids! Bob Saget is without a doubt the one that made this show unbelievably fun with his witty voice overs and gimmicks he’d use on the show. Respect.

It is hard to believe bob saget is gone. He truly was a legend. Bob, i just want to let you know what a wonderful person you were to me. You have brought a smile to every ones face. Americas funniest home videos has lost a family member and the world has lost a legend. Bob saget was best known for his comedy. I will never forget the smiles and the laughs that he brought to everyone. I know many of you are still grieving his loss and so am i but we must remember bob for who he truly was. Bob saget was truly my inspiration. Even though i never got to meet him in person i will always remember him as a comedian and actor. We will miss him very much. I am still in shock about his passing. He was the best father on the television series full house. Once again i am so sorry for the loss of bob saget. My heart goes out to all of his loved ones. Bob saget may be gone, but his legacy will live on for ages not only in the record books but in our hearts. Bob, i am going to miss you. Even though i never met you, but i love you. You will forever be missed by everyone around the world. Afv i am truly sorry for the loss of a family member. To all the cast of full house i am truly sorry for the loss of your father. Almost a month since Bob Saget passed and it still feels like a nightmare. Bob was known for Full House, AFV, 1 Vs. 100 and his adult-oriented stand-up comedy. I also know that he was also a board member for the Scleroderma Research Foundation. He was definitely a good man. I truly wish I could have met him. R.I.P. Bob Saget 😢🌷🕊️

I’m so sorry. I know how you feel. I feel the same with Kevin Conroy (voice of Batman), Jason David Frank (actor for Tommy Oliver from Power Rangers), and Bray Wyatt (The Fiend from WWE). Bob saget, as well as his shows America's Funniest Home Videos and Full House, was a big part of my childhood. The videos and light-hearted moments on both shows gave me a temporary reprieve from the dulldrum that was my childhood. I salute you, Bob, and I hope you're making people laugh in the hereafter.

Still hard to believe he is gone... One thing that sucks about getting older is losing people you love, care about or grew up watching on tv.... Sometimes those three are all in one. That was Bob to me. Even though he never knew me, he helped raise me as a young kid....
