Im at a tough moment in life rn so i definitely relate, richards music really is one of the things im most grateful in life
@toomanysymbols3 жыл бұрын
@@rotmgdabeatz it's the kind of music where just knowing it exists is enough to lift your spirits. Like someone out there made this, they felt the same way i do and decided to pour it into music. It also made me realize that in these personal moments where there's no one else except your own mind, everyone goes through some kind of inconsolable despair and loneliness. It's just not something we talk about, and instead everyone finds some other way to deal with it. Like listening to music on the internet and talking about it with people. And then it gets better for long enough to lose yourself in some other part of your day instead. But that kind of melancholy and tragedy is always in my subconscious and i feel like afx manages to find a way to bring that out and make it into something more concrete we can all experience at the same time. I think that's part of why i've been so drawn to his music over the years. It puts me in a kind of trance that allows me to sit with my emotions and process them instead of letting them eat away at my subconscious

@@toomanysymbols yes rich is a complete genius. If only everyone of us was as talented as he is the world be wonderful. But thats why we have to recognise some whos as great as him and cherish him
@toomanysymbols3 жыл бұрын
@@rotmgdabeatz sometimes it feels like i'm idolizing him a bit too much, but then you listen again and it's back to that internal dream world you never wanna leave. There's almost no one else who can recreate that experience with music as well as he can. Like I just want other people to experience the same thing cause it's so amazing but it's hard to do without seeming up his ass or pretentious. Then again I feel like the people who'd really be into his music come across it at one point or another cause it's accessible enough at this point and shoving it in someone's face only detracts from the process of discovering more and more music.

I reckon RDJ's music is great at engaging your mind logically and then flooding you with emotion in an instant with a transitional change in the song. He beautifully merges both together.
