❤❤❤❤Can't wait for this collection 😍 Even with the hat being a filler, I would definitely buy it separately. It fits in with Samantha collection, remember her plaid cape and white hat and muff. So many people have tried to sell the cape or tartan cape without the hat and muff or muffler. So I think AG did us all a solid with this set. We could have easily gotten a cheap ring to go with that gorgeous locket, so that hat is amazing!👏 I agree that a boy outfit would have been great in this collection.

Oh, it makes so much sense to use the hat for Samantha! I didn’t even think about it because my Samantha has 2 (1 is handmade).

I'm definitely going to get something from this collection. Last year I wanted to get some items but by the time I decided which ones to get, they were all sold out. my favorite from this collection is the pink sweater with the bows and the white skirt with the roses. I love pink and that shade is so pretty. I am also thinking of getting the coat (since I only started getting dolls last year) so having a white fur coat would be so pretty. I don't really have any winter items so that is great. I actually never heard of the store Janie and jack before, and I will definity check it out. The dolls that I have are Rebecca, (bought full price) truly me #55 (bought off Ebay). Truly me #80 bought (from the website on sale). And I recently found a Josefina doll from pleasant company (in a local thrift store!!!)

I love this collab and will probably be buying most of the 18" doll items. I love the pink sweater, rose skirt, plaid dress, and red dress but it's all so cute. The AG website says the items are based on historical character's holiday items, specifically Samantha, Kirsten, and Addy. I hope the girls' items fit you. I used to love the fair isle sweaters I owned back in the day.

I too am bummed that there was nothing for our boy dolls...wonder if AG will do something of their own?? I don't think last years was actually part of Something Navy, though. I feel like this colab is definitely mixing contemporary with the 1st 3 Pleasant Company dolls!! 😊 The red dress is definitely giving Samantha Christmas dress vibes, as is the white fur hat from her winter outfit, plus the necklace is totally her broach!! But did anyone else get Molly vibs from the plaid dress... more specifically her jumper from her school outfit?? Also the first thing I thought of when I saw the Scandinavian sweater was Kirsten's winter outfit...OK, not the same design, but definitely could fit her collection.

Last year’s boy outfit wasn’t a part of the collab, so you are right, we might get a boy outfit after all! The plaid actually reminds me of Sam’s original meet, but the pattern is larger? The sweater definitely looks Scandinavian!

The collection is soooo sweet, I'm probably going to get most of it, and at least two sets of the lace skirt and rose sweater for sure!! 😍 I wish Molly, Josephina and Felicity had also been represented though. 😕 The red dress does have some elements of Molly's dress I suppose, but it's stated to have been inspired just by Samantha and Kit.

As someone who collected pleasant company Samantha growing up, I feel a little bit annoyed to see AG recycling her items for a “Janie and Jack collab” with no actual reference to the character Samantha. That fur hat is directly from her collection, and as was said in this video the pendant on the necklace is literally her pin just hanging on a necklace. If they are going to pull so directly from her archives why not have Samantha somewhere in the shoot at the very least. Weird to me.

You are so right! I didn’t even notice that the hat is the same! Now that I think about it, the plaid fabric is similar to the fabric on Sam’s original meet, and the pink sweater kinda looks like Sam’s BeForever meet! They should have definitely used Samantha the the promo images!

I’m happy that they went with Janie and Jack again. I live the flowered skirt and the fair isle sweater. Maybe the shoes and the plaid skirt. The coat and hat might be maybes. I’m really unhappy about no boys outfit. AG needs to get it together and produce some boys clothes. Doesn’t it feel like this collection is a modern take in Samantha and Kirsten?

Well, yes, I will be purchasing all of it for the 18 inch doll the WellieWisher outfit. Like you I wish they would’ve made the rose dress instead of the plaid dress that rose dress is beautiful. Since I really do not like dressing my granddaughters in the same outfit for pictures one will get the red dress and one will get the rose dress I’m just thinking, which one will get which I have one of my granddaughters as olive skin and dark hair and her sister is Irish skin and blonde hair which is exactly what happened with my daughter and my son. I had one of each my daughter can be in the sun for an hour, and she is gorgeously tanned. So I just kinda have to think in my head how I which dress to buy for which girl I know that if I say I’m taking care of their Christmas dresses, my daughter will be just fine with it when I think of what I have spent over the last four weeks and will spend in, the next few days it’s a good thing I save all year for Christmas. Although I love doing this for the girls I also love picking out the most appropriate Legos for my great nephew one year when he was younger and I bought him flow and he saw it when he opened his birthday present he rolled his eyes at me, I couldn’t believe it I said did you roll your eyes at me and he said , I build regular Lego now. OK I’ve been told for my two teenage one almost be on her way to 20. They usually like a cute handbag and to find gift cards in it. It’s the easiest job I do the collection is fantastic and I can’t wait to order it and to get it home and, I may end up ordering two complete sets of 18 inch clothes so that I have a set for me. It's OK. Not in love but still mad they have nothing for the boys including Wellieswisher's Bryant. Here AG goes again giving half their money away to someone else instead of investing in themselves. Bring back Samantha's clothes not sell references to it.
