I am 72 and have been taking AG1 for a month. I spent most of 2022 fighting colon cancer ……chemo, etc. I have Celiacs disease with constipation. Post chemo my immune system and energy level was toast. I also needed medication to maintain a daily bowel movement. Since taking AG1 my energy level has definitely increased. I am experiencing two bowel movements daily. Overall I feel great. I just had my one year colonoscopy and my G.I. Doc said whatever you are doing………keep doing it. I’m excited to see how I feel six months from now.

I've been taking AG1 for about four months and have noticed a couple of differences. My waking blood glucose levels are noticeably lower. I check my levels every morning and have done so for years and the improvement seems correlated with starting AG1. The other difference is an uptick in deep sleep. Over the past year, I averaged about 1.5 hours of deep sleep and that has gone up to 2 hours a night since starting AG1.

AG1 is a branding exercise. Just another sad example of what passes for innovation these days. It's all about packaging and celebrity endorsements. I don't know how much of that £100 a month people are supposed to dish out is being spent by the marketing department to keep people like Joe Rogan singing their praises, but I'm guessing it's not negligible. I opened another browser window while watching this to compare the ingredients listed here with the current list on their website and can report that they are not the same. Two of the most essential minerals, calcium and magnesium, have been removed from the formula since this video was made. It's a total joke.

I really hate the way this company claims that there are 12 servings of fruit/veg in one serving of AG1. What they mean is that there's the same amount of antioxidants as 12 servings of veg., Which you can get from a much cheaper multivitamin. But AG1 has got none of the other goodness that real vegetables have, especially fiber. I looked at the ingredients list, and AG1 has roughly 11 grams of powdered plant material in each serving. Even if those plants are normally 90% water, that means the powder contains the equivalent of around 100 grams of veggies. Which isn't even two servings. All this to say: you might be spending more on your whole fruits and vegetables, but you are also definitely getting a lot more!

Great video and I believe you absolutely nailed it. I’ve been taking AG1 for 2 years now and I can definitely understand when you say you’re not sure exactly what it does but you “think” you feel better. A few things I absolutely noticed were nails definitely strengthened and skin improved. My nails were always cracking even though I keep them short and I wear gloves as much as possible while working( I’m a man for clarity here). Also I felt significantly less bloated and it regulated my movements. I can’t say that I notice any significant difference in recovery or performance in hard workouts or exercise before taking AG1 and since starting and continuing taking it for 2 years. I have replaced all other vitamins other than still taking a vitamin d3/k2 combo. I still take other supplements like protein and a few others to keep lean muscle mass as I age( I’m 45). I spent upwards of $60 on vitamin packs and what not before for years, so the price isn’t an issue for me. I look at it as $3/day and whether it’s a placebo effect or not isn’t really concerning to me. I plan to continue taking it. I’ve looked into and tried others like AG1 and have found that those others don’t do or have something AG1 in some way or another. Whether it’s not continuing to try to improve the product, not actually listing and breaking down the amount of and ingredients in the superfood complexes and other complexes, AG1 does all of this. Plus the customer service is top notch. You may not get a response same day but you definitely will the following day, and they have never once left me disappointed or feeling ignored or that they don’t care. If anyone reads this though and has alternatives they believe I should try, please let me know. Have fun everyone.

I am 53, I have hypothyroidism, I’m in menopause, and a basic active person. I’ve always taken over the counter vitamins, but I noticed that my nails, toe nails, and hair were suffering. I was losing hair, toe nails fell off, and my nails looked seriously bruised. To me these were all signs of nutritional issues. My daughter was taking this while pregnant because other supplements were making her throw up. December’22 I began taking AG1 because my symptoms were not improving. I did have bloat the first month, but now that’s gone. Five months later my hair is growing and looks full. It’s not falling out in gobs. My toe nails have grown back and only one is left to heal. My nails have all healed too. My daughter also retained her hair and had tremendous growth during pregnancy. I’d say that this is a great product and I have no problem spend the $$ every month.

I have been taking for over a year…sometimes just 3 to 4 days a week to save a little money, but I prefer almost daily. I absolutely notice a difference. I had some severe gut issues and my energy levels were very low among a few other things that I was experiencing for the first time in my life. After taking AG1 for 2 or 3 months the 😊gut issues were gone. My energy was also starting to improve. I did feel better overall and I had tried all kinds of things before that will no to only slight improvements, so I don’t believe it could be in my head. I’m an artist, money is tight, but my health is priority. I also started taking it in the morning and could fast. I tend to wake up starving, so this was new for me too and the effects of fasting may have helped as well. I used to take a lot more supplements, but I currently only take ag, fish oil and lactoferrin (a fairly new addition that I also found a noticeable shift in my energy and health, I am often anemic) I have felt far better in the last 3 months than I have in the last 3 years. So I will continue with at unless something changes. 💚 thank you for the honest review!

BPN Greens is not a fair comparison to AG1. To get a similar level of nutrients as AG1 you would need to have the full BPN suite of health products including the multivitamin and probably BPN Reds as well. AG1 is like all those BPN products combined which comes out to about $110 a month vs $90 for AG1. I have used both and compared them in depth. I have been on the AG1 for about a month and so far loving it. Feeling good and would recommend. BPN is also good but you can't compare the price of just BPN Greens as a direct competitor by itself to AG1

For sure, there's other ways to get the benefits of this stuff. Where's the $92/mo keep coming from? It's $80 on subscription. The main issue I see with everyone constantly bitching about the price is that, if you were to buy quality, 3rd party tested products to cover everything AG1 has, you'll spend more than AG1. And let's face it, most Americans eat like shit and don't get anywhere close to what they need. The powder is also much more absorbable than pill form. After years of taking various supplements due to being at near deficient levels and seeing very little improvement, I did see improvement in my blood results from AG1. Everyone seems to do these reviews, but no one does a real review with quantifiable data like before and after blood work. It's possible you could get all the same benefits from Primal Greens, then buy sublingual sprays/drops for the vitamins it's missing (though their probiotics suck), but you're still getting back into the ballpark of the price point.

Great video. Not being a critic, just adding my endorsement to yours. You said, “it’s expensive for what you get.” It is expensive, I agree, but in the case of AG1, we get what we pay for. Buying the equivalent supplementation in pill or liquid form, in my experience, would cost much more per month. Plus, AG1 is so much easier to dose than a handful of horse size tablets and capsules would be each day. I started feeling the difference in just about a week and look forward to taking it as part of my morning routine. Thanks again for your video.

I have been using this for 7 months now and will continue using this. The main reason is the unintended consequence of a problem I’ve had that’s seems to have resolved. I have suffered from esophageal strictures for about ten years, I began to notice less and less frequent issues eating and have been problem free for six months. I also was diagnosed with hypothyroidism 7 years ago. I haven’t been the best with medication compliance and expected my lab work to be bad, well I was within normal limits and I feel good. Love, love AG1! I feel so much better. Bonus, my skin glows! I add 1 teaspoonful of each, tumeric and organic beet powder. It helps with inflammation and clarity. Lately, I've been adding to a blender with some blueberries, a handful of fresh greens, flaxseed and chia and 1/2 banana. Amazing! Expensive, yes. But totally worth it! I just reduce the amount a tad to make it stretch some. That's why I add the fresh greens and fruit. I also take the D3 and K2 drops that camewith it. I can feel a difference if I forget a day.

@@thisaccounthasbeensuspended I’ll start by saying I think it works well and it tastes good. Reading the pamphlet it comes with, it shows they’re in a continuous improvement model, and this iteration is number 52, so be cautious of the really old reviews because that iteration may not have tasted as good. A company that’s in ongoing improvement of their product is using the premium you pay for it to make sure their product is solid with good R&D. I’ve been taking it for two weeks and quit taking my multivitamin since AG1 technically has most of the same vitamins, if not more. I primarily like it because it doesn’t make me feel weird or give tummy troubles, and I definitely have had a life of stomach issues. This sits really well with me and I don’t think about it after consuming it. No weird aftertaste, and I don’t burp anything up. In two more weeks, I’ll provide more updates. What happened with me when I ordered the 30-day pouch is I wasn’t getting it when expected (I paid the lowest for shipping) and on day four, their automated system sent me an email acknowledging it was taking a long time and offered me a free five pack for my next order. Then it took longer, so I simply opened their chat on their site and said “my package still hasn’t arrived, it looks like it’s sitting at my local shipping facility.” They replied with “it looks like it got lost, let me refund your shipping.” But they didn’t stop there; they then sent me a screenshot of them sending me an overnight pouch and a free 5 pack. When I received it, they sent me a 30-day pouch and 2 5 packs. Still didn’t stop there….they then found the original order and shipped it. So I got a 30-day plus another 30-day, plus two 5 packs, and I have a voucher for another free 5 pack on my next order. I didn’t ask for all that; they decided right off the bat that’s what they wanted to do. So they have excellent customer service.

Very helpful to have your opinions about the taste, as that'd probably be one of my main concerns too, even though I'd also probably manage to drink it...just makes it easier to consider purchasing something (especially something that isn't particularly cheap) when you know it's likely to be pleasant or at least drinkable. With other ‘grassy’ & green powders, I find adding some pure apple juice makes them taste pretty nice.

I appreciate the honesty in the review. Yeah, as you said it is inconclusive, but that’s always the reality with supplements. It’s really hard to quantify gains or benefits outside of subjective comments. But most reviewers would try to attribute definitive results in order to sound better on KZbin. So I appreciate that you were honest. I’d be curious to hear a similar review of the BPN products and comparing the two. I suspect they are similar quality (meaning they are both good), but the extra cost to AG1 is to pay those huge marketing costs of paying Tim Ferris’s, Joe Rogan and the other massive influencers out there. So BPN might be a better long term solution. But would love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks for the review! I just ordered AG1 and I'm combing thru reviews to see what I might expect based on real-world use cases such as yours. Thanks also for the honesty and not doing a sponsored video. I've heard the taste is rough but I'm also one of those who actually enjoys wheatgrass shots so yeah, I'm weird. The cost is ridiculious though... (gotta pay for all their marketing somehow) I currently spend a little less than this per month on the handful (literally a hand full) of pills and capsules I take for vitamins and supplements in the mornings. I already have to take a fair amount in the way of Rx stuff every day so the fewer pills I have to swallow the better. I'll give this stuff a go but I might just line it up against a comparable, but cheaper option for a head-to-head. The only reason I am willing to give AG1 a shot is the 60 money-back guarantee. That *should give me enough time to try it out and maybe try out a competitor before committing. Of course, an objective review is really hard because we all have different chemistry and you did say you weren't getting your blood run at the lab (nor should you have for a 10 min YT review). This really comes down to a try & see for each person. If the user can tolerate the taste & the cost, plus they see/feel a benefit then it might be worth it to them. Totally case-by-case. Thanks agains for the review!

Ahah I loved your review and honestly I would have had the same conclusion. Been taking it for about 2 months as well and the taste definitely grew on me, I wouldn’t imagine a day without it now. I’m a big believer in supplementation and I use to take the Dr. Rhonda Patrick’s list of supplements every morning but it’s like 10 pills to swallow and I felt like a sick person needing its medication. Now I feel almost the same effects but with a subjectively healthier routine. Price wise, I don’t think it’s more expensive that taking all that stuff separately (especially all the “nootropics”). Also, I’m not a doctor but I wouldn’t recommend taking cheap supplements as it’s most probably made from less qualitative/bio available stuff and can even contain harmful substances (pesticides, heavy metals,…).

I think it’s important to clarify that AG1 does not compare to other greens out there and comparing to BPN strong greens is not a good comp. A quick comparison of the Supplement Facts makes that pretty clear. (Also a huge BPN fan if that matters) AG1 replaces a greens, multi vitamin and probiotic. If you go with a high end product for all 3 of those, you get to the price of AG1 pretty quickly.

I can’t attest to the genuine health affects yet but it definitely helps your energy and motivation through the day!

Are you still taking it and if so, how is it going? I am also a server, I wake up at 7am and work 9am-5pm. Like you (before you started AG1) after work, I find myself just lying around. Like I seriously can’t wait to get home from work, shower, and get off my feet. I NEVER want to do anything or go anywhere after work. I used to have the best memory but I notice now my memory has gotten terrible, which as you know, is not good for a server lol. I used to be able to take orders without writing them down, but I wouldn’t dare risk doing that now. Even if it’s just 2 beverage orders, I’ll write it down. Was wondering if you’re still taking it and if it’s having the same effect as when you made this comment. Also, has it done anything for your skin?

Would definitely be interested in another video if you continue to take it. I've been talking it for a few days nows in hope it will help my energy levels and mind fog

Great vid! I personally only take it 3-4 times a week just to save a bit of money. It’s definitely worth it for me and have noticed a big difference when I’m on it and off it for a long period.

Great review. I'm taking a cheaper one after a lot of research. I can't notice any diff. I've started trying to eat more fruit, and I super notice a diff from that. Also more salads. I'll be doing that after my green powder container is gone.

@@Vanoual Look into Green Vibrance powder. The only real advantage AG1 have over Green Vibrance is the taste from what I’ve heard

WFPB diet makes a massive difference. Get dark leafy greens like Kale in your diet. Lots of them. 3 times a day if you can.

I just don’t think 80/month is that much for one’s health. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I suppose it depends on your situation. $80/month is life changing for some people. But I tend to agree if AG1 does everything it says it does then it's a worth while investment.

I like your honest review. I think the ingredients listed can be found in foods and for way less of the asking price. But if it works for you then that's all that counts.

Absolutely. I think the idea here is that they're taking the guess work out of diet/nutrition and just making it a one-stop solution for those that don't want to learn.
