The Tata Steel Chess Tournament is one of the most prestigious events in the international chess calendar. The "Wimbledon of Chess" attracts the very best chess grandmasters in the world, along with thousands of amateur players, live event visitors and online visitors from around the world. In 2018, the Tata Steel Chess Tournament celebrates its 80th anniversary.
The tournament has two main player groups, each with 14 players. They are known as the Tata Steel Masters and the Tata Steel Challengers. Both the Masters and the Challengers play their first round on Saturday 13 January 2018. The chess moves of both can be followed live online. In addition to Grandmaster events, the Tata Steel Chess Tournament also organises amateur events that are open to players of all levels.

3:34 - After bishop captures the knight, play pawn C5... What do you think would be the outcome? I want to lern how to see beyond. Thanks man, your videos are great. I am a not-even-amateur player. Some times you go so fast to certain key points that are awesome. But some times i would really apreciate a little pause here and there to explain some more general stuff. Im my mind i picture the openings for example. I think you have a deep understanding of the game and you are very didactic. Have you ever thinked about meke something like a "Opening series", where you go about the details, nuances an philosophy of each one? The variations.. and so on. I feel inspired right now. Thank you so much.

At 7:10 you asked us to pause and you came up with a 6 move mate. In that position bishop to f3 pawn can't capture or queen h3 mate so defend with rook g2 and queen takes h3 pawn for checkmate since bishop is pinning the g2 pawn. Did I miss anything there? 2 moves instead of 6. What can white play different?

If Jones wanted to play this rather poor line for white he could have gained a tempo by playing Bd3, Bc2, and h3 earlier, omitting Bc4 and e5 and thereby avoiding the Bg4 pin. Still not a great position though and white has to try and get in an early d4 and bail to try to keep equality. I became aware of these lines after watching a Polgar game and analyzing some spectacular ideas for several days.
