are you talking about the wasted move with the rook pairs? definitely not 200iq. all the material would have been gone instantly if he moved the right one. the pawn capture pawn afterwards was perfect time for it, though.

Beautiful game! I would have resigned long before Leko did. haha. Haven't seen such a wild game with 2 minor pieces in a row offered and left enprise and then forcing the opponent to accept by bringing a THIRD minor piece in.. the threats were too much for them to be left as they were after that. Really one of Anand's most entertaining games and and instant favourite for me, even if it was a rapid. Maybe even more so because it was, Anands still a beast at rapid.

I saw one video in my recommendations last night and have watched about 10 videos since. I haven't played chess for years and at that, I've played about 8 games in my entire life. So why am I watching these videos? I think it's so satisfying to watch these pro games, with excellent commentary, because it makes you feel powerful! As you are explaining the moves, I feel as if it's exactly what I would have done! (Though the reality is I'd do something much stupider). Great videos and concept for a KZbin channel. Very entertaining!

I could not believe my eyes. This was simply spectacular! I am very happy for Vishy- the Jagr of the chess world it seems! (Korchnoi being the Gordy howe of course) He is so humble and seems like a very thoughtful person in his interviews. Seeing him win this I think was great for the chess world. Though I am still very disappointed that so many great players took place in the tournament- when it would have been a great time for professional players to stand against corruption in FIDE and to frown heavily upon human rights disasters in Saudi.... But we are all very lucky to see such amazing games nonetheless.
