@@arsenalfanrichidude first of all, it s probably rapid and it s absolutely possible, i only watched some youtube opening studies (completely useless for actual chess strenght but i enjoyed it) and i solved some tactics over time but really few to consider it a training and my rapid lichess elo peak was 2232 which isn t impressive but still, vers possible with very little effort

After watching this video i realize how strong this quote from Bobby Fischer is "I don’t believe in psychology. I would like to thank you expressly for your work, with which you save many treasures of chess from oblivion. I hope that at some point your channel will be recognised by chess federations and that you will receive some kind of official honour. P.S.: The Colle-system is a frequently played position, because many players want to avoid the confusing variety of variations of the Indian or Slavonic systems. In the transition to the middle game, however, many make the mistake of trying to somehow wring a win out of this balanced opening through unclear ideas. This is also the case here with the queen move to a6., which you then immediately punished! Good work;-)!

Congrats Antonio. It was a solid game. Human, understandable moves, not engine nonsense, like if you play a move, you have to have a 20 moves plan ahead to capitalize later.

#suggestion Veselin Topalov vs Magnus Carlsen - Grand Chess Tour Paris Rapid (2016) [Spanish Game: Closed. Martinez Variation] This game features incredible strategic play by Carlsen; he slowly weakens Topalov's dark squares near his king, opens up the h-file then retreats his queen from h5 to the back rank with 33... Qh8!! Carlsen then slowly constricts White's kingside through unbelievably creative and methodical positional play - first he retreats his knight to h7 to make room for his bishop, then he plays Rfc8, and then he retreats his Queen further, to it's starting square on d8!! He exerts an incredible choke hold on Topalov's position from afar, and there is nothing Topalov can do to save his position from slowly falling apart. Carlsen then slowly maneuvers his dark square bishop from e7 to g5 to f4 until it is a fully operational monster on g3, and establishes his knight on a beautiful outpost at g5. Only 8 moves after 33... Qh3, Magnus hammers the final nail into Topalov's coffin with none other than 41... Qh3!!! again!!! With no defense to Carlsen's threats, Topalov resigns.
