Tal vs Botvinnik 1960
Moscow
No sooner did Mikhail Botvinnik regain his title, the chess world became entranced by charismatic young Latvian named Mikhail Tal. Tal won the 1958 interzonal tournament at Portoroz, then helped the Soviet Union to retain the Chess Olympiad; before going on to win the 1959 Candidates Tournament with 20 out of 28 points--a point and a half ahead of second place Paul Keres.
Tal often sacrificed material in search for the initiative in chess. With such intuitive sacrifices, he created vast complications, and many masters found it impossible to solve all the problems he created over the board, though deeper post-game analysis found flaws in some of his conceptions. Although this playing style was scorned by ex-World Champion Vasily Smyslov as nothing more than "tricks", Tal convincingly beat every notable grandmaster with his trademark aggression.

Its incredible to see how every single move is with a purpose, calculated, backed up. Just an incredible game, chess is. When played at the highest level, it is possibly one of the best games ever. At least definitely the best boared game ever.

As a new series of classic chess games I would suggest the 1953 international tournament based on the analysis of Bronstein. If you want to go even farther back into classical the 1895 Hastings is also a great Tournament. I personally much prefer the older games than the current computer assisted games where players use opening lines that not even Tal on LSD could conceive!!!!

Preet Sanghavi I think you don't understand what I am talking about. I am not talking about game 6 Fischer-Spassky. A "match" isn't only a game. For example, The Tal-Botvinnik match means all 24 games. A game is a game, a match is a match. Game of the century is Fischer-Byrne. He didn't make a series on the match Fischer-Spassky 1972.

Agad you should open a Patreon account so that some of your most loyal fans can show their appreciation for the time and effort you put in to the impressive way you promote chess. I’ve learned a lot of basics, tactics and ideas just from watching your channel that I’ve gone from a 1200 player to a 1550 (give or take) in the 3 months since I subscribed to your channel. I know you give options for contributions to your channel but patreon seems to be the best and easiest way to make those contributions. Regardless of what you decide to do on that front, thank you for helping me “increase my vast knowledge” with your entertaining and informativ videos. Keep up the gold work my friend!
