People act like magnus is god 🤣 i mean he is still human, doesn't mean even remotely that magnus will go 100/100 chess win against every opponents ever play against him. Brilliant play by Neiman no, doubt. Hope Magnus gains back the motivation he says he is loosing to play chess to defend his world title. After so long undefeated streak magnus is bored and his motivation is lacking his play is lacking.

analyzing the game I noticed a very interesting pattern. Hans makes the top engine move 3 moves in a row, and then throws in the 2nd or 3rd top move, then again makes 3 top engine moves in a row. This exact pattern was repeated from "completely new game" to Magnus' resignation, 6 times total. granted this analysis was 'only' to a depth of 22, but given the time constraints that's probably the depth Hans used as well. yknow...allegedly.

I noticed a pattern too. People claim he made all great moves, then claim he throws in a bad move here and there, then claim the 100% games are really 90% games and then... Doesn't matter what Hans does, people are going to make stuff up. If you were to mask player names and show games you would never pick out Hans.

I heard Bobby Fischer say he hated chess because it has become nothing but memorization and theory. I love playing but I would not want to have to memorize hundreds of games at leat to 10 moves each. I am open for new variations of this wonderful game.
@chessstudent8797
@chessstudent8797 2 жыл бұрын
I think you had a wrong idea. Chess varsity here. Memorization and theory is still the key. Would you want to waste time and energy just to think your next moves in the opening? You don't want to do that. It is just waste of time. And for example you did not memorize it and become a Fischer who creates weird openings. Heck you can do that, but it is gonna be too much drain of energy and waste of time. Theory is also important. And I hate to admit it but you are quite doing it without knowing it if you are a good player. Here in PH we got 3 golden rules. 1. Equalize. (Trade as much as possible if you are ahead of pieces) 2. Time is Gold. (Use your time wisely and make some tactics) 3. Protect your king. (He who castles first can attack first) Yeah this is pretty much it from PH. And that's why we are notorious in playing chess in the streets with money on the line. And that is just following the 3 golden rules is they are quite good and good practice for us. Playing unorthodox style. Theory is also used by the Russian players. They were not taught to play openings in their early chess career did you know that? They love to teach the endgames first. And it is pure 100% theory in endgames. The reason why Bobby and any tactician players like Tal don't want memorization and theory is just because they are too good in tactics. But if Magnus will fight Bobby. Surely Magnus wins and any present day chess players because we got tactics and strategy. Chess is also a war game. That's why in the first generation is there are too many tactics without no strategy. Keep studying theories. And I don't wanna say memorization. More like familiarizing the opening. "I am not afraid who knows lots of openings, I am afraid who plays 1000+ matches in a single opening" -dont know who maybe Wesley or Magnus (reference to the french defense)
