@@agent-sz2qj He beat Judit Polgar when she was 15... in the game, he picked up his knight, moved it to a bad square, and for a fraction of a second, he let it go, before picking it back up and putting it back. It happened so fast that only he could know he let it go, but he didn't admit it, and instead made a different move with his knight. He went on to win, and even had the nerve to say that Judit needs to "learn some manners" when she dared to challenge him. Compare that to Ding Junhui, the Chinese snooker player, who faintly touched the cue ball when preparing his shot in a recent game. Only he knew he fouled, but he still told the referee and took his seat. That honesty cost him a frame that he otherwise probably wins. Ding is a man with integrity, unlike Garry.

Thanks for sticking with the Alpha Zero games, Agad. I look forward to the Capablanca series very much, but this video really marks the end of the Dark Ages of Chess for me. Engines wrecked our game as we played on, knowing full well practically every move we made was a stupid mistake and a blunder. Alpha Zero's response to ...c4 with, ultimately, the knight manoeuvre is a thing of beauty, and the clarity of your analysis makes it accessible to poor players such as myself. With the opaque number crunching era behind us, for now at least, we can enjoy Chess as a beautiful game where human qualities have a place in our understanding and appreciation of games played between both human players and the most advanced computers we have yet devised. It is a great Christmas present. Thank you.
