Interviews after this game show that after 5:21 Nakamura was expecting Fabi to play Nc6 which wins back the trapped queen, but was shocked to see Nf5 instead. Fabi himself said that this preparation was NOT engine approved. The engine actually gave an advantage for black after Nf5, but Fabi said he just shut off the engine because it was one of the saddest positions he’d seen for black. I wonder if today’s engines understand how dominant white’s position actually is.

At 13:27 whats stopping white from playing bishop D6? I know I'm only a 1600 player but isnt that a better deal? White will end up with a Rook and bishop instead of two bishops because the white King is forced to take the bishop on D6. Am I missing something here?
