My Bona Fides would be in 1968 I met John Applebaugh, one of the founding members of the Knifemakers guild, he gave my dad and I steel and even heat treated our terrible efforts. Today I have fixed blades by Bill Bagwell, Bill Burke, and Ed Fowler, folders by Chris Reeve, Bob Terzuola, Rick Hinderer and others. I've given 3 Rasks and one Norseman as gifts. My Carry Norseman is a delight...not light but flat, wonderful action and blade, excruciating craftsmanship. Highly reccomend if you can sharpen a compound curve (a chefs round ceramic rod and steel work great if you aren't skinning a lot of biffalo!).

I got a bronze anodized Norseman as well. It looks and performs great. Glad that you were able to find this one. It won’t disappoint.🎉

Congrats again man. Every Norseman I have handled had been impressive. You can tell they take pride in their work.

100% they are super into the details so I feel like if you’re the type of person like that, you’ll really appreciate all the little intricacies and details!

Love that presentation box and all the goodies in it. Looks like an awesome knife but it just doesn't do it for me no matter how many times I see it..I really wish I could like this knife.... probably if I handled it in person. But you can't like them all it wouldn't be any fun😅

Honestly I was in the same boat until I handled it….then I became a believer. It’s one of those knives that can only be appreciated in hand cuz it looks so funky. It’s fun, funky, and super useful.

Why did you sell your Rask please?

I used to have a Norseman in the same configuration, great design and action, but I had to sell it because I did not like the way the handles change their colour because the grease of hands.

Anodizing on titanium tends to get decolorations easily

Yeah it def changes color quickly but hit it with windex or cleaner and that shine comes back quick

Why did you sell the rask?

I was chasing something else but I missed it so much I ended up getting another rask this week. That’s how good it is IMO.
