I'm a huge MCR fan, and imo no one should be hateful or spiteful towards this cover. Or any cover of theirs. Feel honored. MCR is a band that is respected enough for what they did that ppl wanna make covers of their music. Whether you think it's a good or bad cover, it's still all out of respect and love for their music. (Big ATC fan as well 🙂)

FFS I'm sick of all the negativity. They covered a great song, but changed it so it fit their style. It shouldn't be the exact same as the original and so they put their own spin on it. I'm sorry it hasn't got MCR written all over it but could we just appreciate what a good singer Chrissy is and how brilliantly she can perform anything and make it her own. I listened to this live and it was wonderful. Great job ATC!!

Man thats exactly what a cover needs to be in my opinion. Show your love for the band and song while also showing off your own style. FOB did it well with Beat It, Shinedown did it well with Simple Man, A7X did it well with Wish You Were Here, and now i can add this cover to my growing list of super loved covers.

Unlike a lot of other acts on this tribute album, Against the Current understood the assignment and made the song their own instead of just mimicking the original style. This is my favorite song off of the entire cover record.

This is fun, the big drums and the Christmas-esque additions and the vaguely 80's synth, all together with the great vocals. I do miss the guitar a bit more though, but when it comes in it's great.

I love the 80s vibe on this one. If I were arranging this I'd have the synth bass come in with two bars of the verse bassline after the atmosphere in the intro and leave out the percussion until halfway through, too high energy at the start. Guitar solo feels out of place in the mix, but people would have complained if it wasn't in there, personally would have simplified it or left it out.
