Good for you Sir. I started 4 years ago when I was 60. Doesn't this just go to show that we're never too old to learn, and no one is too young to teach us. I wish you many more years of playing.

I saw Bob Seger at the first concert I ever went to in 1976 at Anaheim Stadium.... It was Bob Seger, Montrose, Ted Nugent, and the headliner was the greatest band in the land.... KISS....! 👅🤘 And in 1976 he had not even gotten popular at that point he was still a warm-up band...so to speak. And one song in they trashed them off the stage it was brutal.... Couple years later they were headlining their own shows... Thanks Teach... 🍎

Another informative tutorial... Hi Lauren, I was recently thinking about me telling you around two years ago on how I lost my eyesight in 2005, due to a life threatening illness that left me totally blind. I thought I would never be able to play the Guitar again, thankfully for playing for over four decades, I still have the skill. But now I can no longer purchase the popular Guitar Mags anymore, because they’re useless to me. So I sought out you tube to brush up on expanding my playing and there you were, Guitar for beginners, which with your easy and thorough teaching approach, really helped my reintroduction to the instrument. And although I can’t see you on the screen, hearing your direction you made it simple and inviting with inclusion. And you’re the first Guitarist I subscribed to, so thank you. You have a supporter in me for life. By the way, Happy belated Anniversary, for your Channel being on you tube for Eleven years and counting. I got the numbers backwards, it’s the 12th which was last week Friday, not the 21st. So please forgive me sweetheart, for my lapse in timing. So, congrats, continued success, you’re the best and all the rest. Stay safe and continued good health my Friend. And as always, YOU ROCK! XO

Awesome video! Could you please teach us how to play Barrett baber version of "I'd love to lay you" original was by Conway Twitty. In the Barrett baber version he uses a capo on the first. Could you please show it by using the C9 simple version of it and of course the strumming pattern. I think you explain it better than the other videos I've watched. I'll share it on all my social media outlets. Thanks Spencer

I've looked at every lesson on this song on KZbin, just curious why every one gets the intro wrong.....listen to the song again. I don't claim to be a teacher or a pro at all but I play it with a G chord shuffling to a third fret on d string to open d string followed by c chord...I should probably know what that note is on the d string,3 rd fret.....just curious why people stay on the g chord and not doing that shuffling thing in the very beginning...maybe I'm wrong....anyone?..BTW it is a good lesson, not faulting that

Tip for Lauren. Please start off with playing the song you're about to teach. I can't tell you how many times I've watched videos where you get minutes in only to find out there's something wrong with the way it's played. I either just move on or (rarely) skip ahead to the end and decide. It just makes sense to start with what you'll be teaching.
