Little James was on his way to sing with the temple choir when he was called to follow Jesus. He could be stopping to listen 😢. I think he would be thinking of what he gave up to follow the messiah. Yes Little James was going to be a singer for the Temple Choir when Jesus called him. This is explained in a later episode of S1. They said at Chosen Con that they were going to show both Thad and Little James backstory this season. I’m pretty sure that is also what they were doing in the BTS a few weeks back when they showed a “wall under construction” that Thad would have been working on in Bethesda when Jesus called him.

Since you asked for input, I suggest that instead of showing a quick clip and then coming back to describe it and immediately going ahead to something else, how about keeping the clip on screen so we can find the people you're talking about and examine the scene? It would not need to lengthen the video, but it would save me having to constantly pause and go back and forth through the whole video. Maybe it's just me, but it takes me a while to really see what and who you are discussing in these scenes. Thanks!

One important thing about the timeline of the Easter week is that according to the Bible, the triumphal entry and the cleansing of the temple took place on two different consecutive days, and the cursed olive tree was found dead only the day after the cleansing of the temple. Usually, adaptations depict these three things happening on the same day to save time, but time is not an issue in The Chosen series, so I expect to see these happening on different days like in the Bible and between them Jesus retreats to Bethany for the nights.

The same mystery man at the resurrection of Lazarus? The James clip I am curious if we will see context of him and Rad Thad. When they met for Shabbat at Mary’s apartment during season 1 episode 2, James said Rad Thad introduced him to Jesus. 😊
