@@Pixel-CNC Personally, I really enjoy both build vids and bashing/racing vids, but most of the rc content on youtube is pretty stale, all following the same formula. I dont know if you actively participate in racing, but a video/vlog taking us through a day of racing would be pretty interesting and unique in terms of content.

Hey Charlie, you kindly offered me to test out your nitro at Nemo the other practice day! Great channel btw! Do you need for stability it’s worth using 7,5,5 diff setup on my Kyosho MP9e? I did notice my back end going a bit nuts so mindful this could be a good setup? I have read 7,5,3 is a typical setup for a kyosho but you drove very smoothly...thoughts bud? See you again!!

Hey Neil, Cheers! In high grip, we typically run heavier diffs. For the Nemo race we ran 20K Front, 10K Center and 10K Rear. This helps settle the car down a bit and carry more corner speed. This wouldn't work so well in low grip, as the heavy diffs would spin up the wheels and spin out the car, so all depends on where you're racing, and the track condition at that time. For low grip, I like to run 773 or 753.

@@Pixel-CNC thanks mate! Might have to take you up on your filming credentials!! So for nemo can that high grip setup apply for any branded buggy? I’ve read a few kyosho setup sheets and not seen the diff oil recommendation on the front as much as 20k but I’m a rookie so I’m all ears!?....I’m likely to try out Herts RC track and possibly slough which is a totally different surface altogether, thoughts?
@Pixel-CNC
@Pixel-CNC 3 жыл бұрын
@@neilkapoortennis It'll differ from car to car for sure. I run a media production company! Herts is mid-high grip depending on weather. It's a great track, some challenging sections. Slough is currently under renovation from changing owners, but it's a great track. Very loose and dusty at the moment, hoping that will change.

@@Pixel-CNC thanks again. What do you reckon? What should I go for high grip, what you said earlier? That ok for a kyosho you think. I have a futaba servo snd tekin Gen 3 motor and esc FYI :)

@@neilkapoortennis I think your best bet is to post on the Kyosho fb group to run a setup that other kyosho team guys run. As setups generally aren't universal like that due to allot of factors! Join some kyosho offroad groups on facebook as ask on there, I'm sure they will gladly point you in the right direction. I've not run kyosho in offroad before so I don't know myself. Hope that helps bud!

It’s more than I could need from a chassis, I’ve done two meetings with it but had engine issues in both sadly. But all fixed up now so looking forward to getting some more time on track!

Hi mate, where did you get the coloured nut and bolts from ?
@Pixel-CNC
@Pixel-CNC 3 жыл бұрын
Hi mate, you can buy them from eBay. I have a bunch of m3 and m4 cap and counter sink washers. Just search for those! Bolts are all standard black or silver, just the washers are anodised.

Some of the plastics (as with all kits) require a bit of persuasion as the first time you build the bolts are threading the plastics. I would suggest making sure the bolts you have are m3 countersunk as per the manual and also take a look at the gasket to make sure that’s not blocking the holes. Do put a bit of pressure down towards the hole for the first few turns to get the bolt to thread then it should go in no issue.
