I noticed that Alex was doing the same thing Cheez does when it comes to the killscreen. Instead of having the traditional right well, they opted to just go with whichever column happened to have the empty well at the time. Not sure why but it seems like the optimal way to play at 29 speeds. Probably because instead of sticking to a structured playstyle - the 29 speed is probably too fast to stick to a structure so it's better to just take what the game gives you and what the board ends up with. It's a more reactionary playstyle - which again considering the speed, it's probably better to just "react" instead of trying to "think" about what's happening which can slow you down. I could be wrong though but I've seen Tetrises hit more consistently when done this way.

I love the implementation of the super kill screen. Rolling flattened the game a little with players being virtually immortal. I kind of lost interest after Eric's win in the last CTWC. There was all kind of talk about a line cap but that didn't sound too good to me. I like this solution way better and am definitely interested again as this changes the dynamic once more, rewarding good pacing but not taking away from high level acrobatics and survivability. Super stoked that I stumbled upon this video. Thanks aGameScout. (Coincidentally one of your videos got me into Classic Tetris in the first place back when Jonas won it for the last time)
