Anyway, this is a movie adaptation of the games, not a game movie so they have the liberty to not just purely copy the game. 47 wasn't on any sanctioned mission after this kill, so why limit him to mission parameters?

Best story would be based on hitman silent assassin since it gives him plenty of human elements for the average viewer to sympathize with and at the end he canonically accepts his role in the world and starts to kill righteously, since he only kills his targets and they're always terrible people
