I think we can expect lots of witchy pop culture references, the Wizard of Oz vibes are strong. Even at the very beginning of the first episode, when “detective” Herb says the dead woman (Wanda) is “really most sincerely dead” - that’s the phrase used by the munchkin coroner in the Wizard of Oz celebrating the death of the Wicked Witch of the East… who, like Wanda, was “crushed by something big and heavy.” (Dorothy’s house)
