He also wouldn't have needed to search for confirmation that he was Billy Maximoff, he would've just known.

I don't think Teen remebers being William or Billy, he has total amnesia hence why he feels no real connection to Wanda or Vision, just to Tommy (likely due to the fact they are twins and twins are known to have a weird connection to each other in a lot of urban myths)

Wiccan literally has a unique backstory. He has different personality, orgin, motivation from other young superheroes. He is not superhero wannabe. He just wants to survive and solve the problems. That makes him special just like agatha said.

THIS. The other young superhero characters we were introduced to like Ms Marvel and Kate Bishop were kind of snooty in the sense that they thrived off popularity and having powers or being the best shot. While Billy doesn't want any of that. He just wants to reunite with his family. From the beginning William/Billy acted very mature and responsible for their age. Even if Billy was a week old in the Hex, and gained knowledge of a 13 year old, he showed great responsibility and wanted to help others. This is good character development.

Eh, I personally believe he’s become both William Kaplan and Billy Maximoff. Both of their essences live through him. He’ll just be Billy Kaplan. It’s clear he does love the people he’s come to know as his family and its mutual. I think that’s the way they’re gonna take it.
