Joe Locke played Tobias in the musical Sweeney Todd earlier in the year to good reviews. Patti Lupone sent him flowers on opening night. From the interviews I've seen all his co-stars love him and seem like surrogate mothers to him. This is only his second on screen role.

The already impressive acting, writing, and design of this show somehow managed to find ANOTHER gear. Turns out this isn't just a "mom mobile", it's a damned Ferrari! The best way to understand the enormity of having Patti LuPone in this show is to realize that she is to Broadway what Meryl Streep is to the Movies, or Michael Jordan to Basketball, or Albert Einstein to science. We should all feel very privileged to be able to see her.

This was an incredible episode!! Patty LuPone deserves an EMMY and same for the writing for this show but specifically this episode WoW.. they had to have written the whole show around this thread..and now..to face their final road to death's door. Has anyone else noticed the color scheme of each corresponds to the same colors of the infinity stones as they were released in the MCU.. starts with blue.. infinity stone, then red for reality in thor...purple in the cabin for the stone from guardians ..mind stone was gold for this episode and if you noticed they escaped into the iron maiden which was green for the time stone in doc strange

I love Jen's growth these past few episodes. She pushed to get through the oven during the potions trial, refused to leave her protection circle during the protection trial, and here, she wanted Lilia to go first into the iron maiden.

Patti LuPone is a Broadway legend who has also done multiple TV Shows and Movies. She had her spotlight from stage, and her name itself is a spotlight. But she haven’t quite have THE film/tv spotlight despite being a legend herself wherever she goes and always deliver.

I also have a theory that we're not on the Witches Road at all, but in a Hex ... unknowingly created by Billy, just like Wanda did... Because there are objects from his bedroom in each of the trials.. lights in the cabin.. concert poster in Alice's trial..etc.. And he wishes Lilia was there and then she flys through the wall..

Did anyone else notice that we only see and hear 5 of the Salem Seven get impaled on the ceiling swords?! I think this is the case becuase 2 of them transform birds, which are the crow and owl. Hence, these two couldve just tranformed and escaped.

I think it is more like her past was her future and vise versa. She mentioned to Jen that when she was a kid she saw her life out of order. This was the event. You can look at it like the stuff happening in the past is the present and Lilia visited her young self to talk to her coven mother. Her coven mother knew this. That is why she said that she was visiting (from centuries in the future).

Very well written. This episode is peak marvel. Everything here in this episode is so patti lupone coded too, i believe they really respect their actors and make them involved with the process just as the previous episode is so Joe Locke, he has the authority to keep the design of what will make in William’s bedroom as well to keep the queer representation authentic and the interest in theatre and magic like he is. You can see this show is really made from passion. ❤️ see you on the finale!!!

This episode was incredible, I loved the way the story unwound and thr look of happy satisfaction on young lilias face at the end was wonderful. Best episode yet for me personally. No offence to Jo locke, he's just a young lad earlyninbhis career but my word did Patti lupone show off in this one. I didn't feel last week like we needed that long outside of the road with just Billy, without the other actors around him inwas less invested... they're just s9o good in their roles I was very happy to get back to them

I've read tarot for almost thirty years and we all start out like Billy when we begin reading for others. Still, he definitely didn't do the assigned reading. "This was a book. Inside is about 300 pages with words on them. Those words formed a story with a begining, middle, and end. The characters changed throughout the book and there were some surprises. I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars."

I also see it as an ode to women aging. How we become invisible and are the forgotten people. A coven is made up of at least a maid, a mother and a crone. And they told the crones story.

She got her power back at the end. Note the orange glow, the smallest of CGI effects, when she flipped the tower card over. I believe she was actually using her divination magic.

Why do reactors try to make more out of the William/Billy thing than what it OBVIOUSLY is: William died in the car crash and Billy took over his body and for the past three years has been living as William. He's on the road to find Tommy, his brother. Episode 6 later all that out very clearly.

Go back and look at Billys room all roads start there the moon cycles, Houdini's Biggest Trick, the Goofballs/Goonies on the door out, poster on the The Record of the Witches Road, The spirit flag strip in billies room, The spirit booard bing for 3 and up when eastview was 3 years ago, The Carrie Poster and teens lashing out brakedown, The Wizard of Oz shadow box on the wall, This is not about Tommy or Wanda it is about Billy Maximoff finding William Kaplen is still there and they are becoming one. The Pantagon shaped doors to the Witches Road glowing in blue I am giving you the hints to what is going on and biggest of all who started each trial....

That’s really close to what I’ve been thinking. I’ve definitely thought that there are too many coincidences that point to William/Billy constructing this version of the road from his subconscious. I’ve also thought about William still being in there and both personalities having to merge. Only 2 more episodes so we’ll see.

​@@jcs1025 The only thing stopping the merge was Liali and the sidil it hides you from all witchs even the one that cast it. It was given to William Kaplen. I think both William Kaplen and Billy maximoff is a witch in there. would not be suprised if we find out William has been using the body which his family has been thinking is a split personality. With the Sidil gone William is starting to blend "I have a mother and it is not the Scarlet Witch". Liali was not evil but she was giving them time to learn of each other and bond. It is no longer hiding William from the Witch Billy Maximoff. As interested in magic William was and As kind as he seems to be I could see him willingly do this.

Lillia: Passed her trial and saved everyone, stays behind to defend them against the Salem Seven, WHO are only there because they're chasing Agatha. So yeah, literally all dead because of Agatha.
