Doing a rewatch and in the opening of episode 4 when Agatha is staring at Mrs. Davis’ dead body she says “I didn’t know you had it in you” then Billy says “who had what in them?” Then Agatha just winks at him. Crazy how she new ALL ALONG 🫨😂

Totally embarrassed cuz in my rewatch of episode 8 I realized that was one of the things they showed when he was having his realization… I forgot they mentioned that part 😅😂

It's genuinely insane how many details were poured into the show. Lilia said when you overstay your welcome in a trial, bad things happen. In the Water Trial(Potions) that was the house flooding. In the Fire Trial(Protection) the house would've been engulfed in flames. In the Air Trial(Divination) the room was flipped, making them fall through the air into swords. In the Earth Trial(Green) the roof collapsed on itself, burying anyone left inside. All punishments were fitting for the skill that was on trial. It's genuinely crazy how many hints and teasers there were throughout the show for EVERYTHING that would and had happened and they were hidden so well that we just didn't catch them until the final two episodes.

I love the way that (with the exception of those web people who need the I-also-hate-this factor to work their algorithm milking) general reactor opinions on this series started at "who asked for this" gradually moved to "oh, it's actually not bad" and have ended with a quite large number saying "please let there be a second season". You, of course, are another exception- you are smart and empathetic, as well as pretty.

I was a little skeptical towards the show when I heard about it, but was better then I expected it to be. It was quite interesting with so many curve balls, plot twists, and how they put all the pieces together at the end. Amazing Finale! The reason I watched was mostly for Joe Locke (Heartstopper) another great show. Looking forward to what they bring to this story in the future. Hope to see Billy and Tommy finally reuinited in any upcoming MCU Projects (Scarlet Witch Movie, Vision Quest or maybe even a Young Avengers series/movie). What a cliffhanger! Great Show! Thank you for sharing your reactions.

I love how much you ended up enjoying this show, particularly because you seemed pretty underwhelmed after episode 1. This show, along with Loki and WandaVision are easily the best the MCU has put out. All 3 series were masterful.

One thing that occurred to me about Agatha is that when she ends up killing all those "gullible witches" with the road song, they have to attack her FIRST. Her ability is absorbing other witches' blast magic. She makes them mad, they blast her, and she absorbs all their magic leaving them lifeless. But its always a choice for them to blast or not to blast. Like she told Lyllia in the kitchen, if she shows restraint there wont be an issue. So from a villain standpoint, is she truly evil since she's always attacked first? (except maybe the first one in the stone circle but we didn't see what happened). We never see her attack anyone first. In a weird way she's kind of weeding out witches who blast first and ask questions later - because they're safe if they don't attack her. I think that's an interesting perspective on her character.

The dandelion wasn't there until they were in that room. She had no idea it was there. She sacrificed herself when she found Tommy a body. She didn't think she was making it out alive.

It was always a big question mark hanging over this show as to whether we'd see Tommy by the end. As you say, there is a whole casting process that has to happen for these big Marvel superheroes, which is why I doubt Eddie will end up being Hulkling. And for that reason it would seem unlikely that they'd go through that whole process just for a 5 second cameo at the end of this streaming show. However, in the comics, Billy and Teddy are identical even when reincarnated into different families, so there was a possibility that they'd just double cast Joe Locke to play both roles. If that had been the case, it would be really easy to show Tommy because we've already contracted Joe Locke for the entire season. It's still possible they could go that route, but I find it unlikely. Double casting an actor to play against themself adds a great deal to the cost of production because every scene with both characters has to be filmed twice as many times. It's cute for a one-off gimmick scene or a single movie with that as the central conceit (the parent trap,) but for two whole characters who interact a lot across a multi-film/show franchise it's just too costly. And Disney is notoriously cheap. I think it's more likely they'll use the body-hopping souls as an excuse to deviate from the comics and bring in a different actor to avoid the hassle and expense.

Jen is Ghost Rider's cousin in the comic, Jen herself suspects that Nicky/Nicholas Scratch is an agent of Mephisto, but ironically Jen's cousin is Ghost Rider (Johnny Blaze) who is an agent of Mephisto, there's no way she's that easy to die, I'm sure Jen will join Midnight Sun's like in the comics, she's an important character, she also often helps Dr. Strange

I don’t think Agatha ever meant to hand Billy over. As Rio said herself, the only way Billy could be taken was if he handed himself over willingly. When she told him that she had to be the one to go, Billy was about to do exactly that. She was only faking to hand him over cold blooded to ensure that he’d be angered and turn his mind around. And when he asked her if this was how Nicky died, I think the look we saw on her face wasn’t hesitation or a change of heart, it was relief because she knew Billy actually bought into her show and felt betrayed. She was never going to let him die. And I’m just gonna go cry at my own words for a second 😂😢😭

I wonder if Billy's boyfriend Eddie will end up as Hulkling in the Young Avengers. There were rumors that Kit Connor, Joe Locke's boyfriend in Heartstopper, was going to be Hulkling but I don't think that's going to happen.

yeah she killed a lot of witches but honestly they all attacked her first. I mean, they kinda asked for it tbh. She did provoke them, but they were the ones who used magic against her. Sticks and stones and all

There will be no second season. Story will continue in Vision Quest show. They will try to find Tommy and white Vision. The end of Vision Quest will then lead to Scarlet Witch movie.
