The "time" was other peoples time. I'm pretty sure Agatha was killing other witches, in the beginning anyways, to take their time to give to Death, so that Death wouldnt take her son. Jennifer wanted to be unbound, and Agatha revealed herself to her so Jen was able to get back what she wanted. Billy wanted Tommy back and Agatha helped him do it. Then in turn, Billy powered up Agatha which is what she wanted at the end of the road. Even though Agatha dies, all 3 of the final witches gave each other what the other was seeking. It was really beautiful, and shows the power and love of being in a Coven.

I think she didn’t think it through when recruiting Liliia. She most likely only told that to Liliia so she could recruit her, as Liliia was strongly against joining as she knows Agatha’s reputation. She most likely thought she could make Liliia mad enough to still blast her and also expected Alice to blast her. She thought she’d get two witches to give her magic. She knows Mrs Hart was not a witch and she wouldn’t have included Mrs hart if the coven wasn’t refusing to go to the road without a “green witch”. Jen was the only potions witch so she had to include her but I’m sure Agatha’s plan was just to get Liliia and Alice’s powers. But her flaw was her telling Liliia how she takes people’s powers, should have thought of a different negotiating tactic.

I hope when we do get Wanda back her costume is closer to the end of WandaVision than her Multiverse of Madness look. I think it matched Wiccan’s hero outfit here in the finale

I love that the og Ballad is basically a protection spell for Agatha in a way. Nicholas is basically telling her that they will see each other again, and she shouldnt have to worry and be sad cuz he will always be with her.

I think it’s established in Multiverse of Madness the sons of the Scarlett Witch are part of Chithon’s prophecy . Statues of both Tommy and Billy are seen sculpted next to Wanda in the Darkhold temple.

Not sure if someone already mentioned it or notice it. But the Title from episode 1 to 9 is a short poem of the ballad of the witches road. Which is kinda cool.

The flower Agatha is watering is a dandelion ! In it's cycle of life this flower blooms as a yellow one and then the petals turns white/blue by becoming seeds that fly away in the wind to form new flowers. It is with that seed that Agatha is gardening this little flower. So it could reprennent the rebirth of Agatha with the white and blue colors of her new ghost outfit, and the seed in the wind could represent Tommy, who is out there and in the need of his brother : the future of the Maximoff's family and the new purpose of Agatha 🦋

It’s kinda weird that Rio sorta just… disappears by the end of the show. I thought we were gonna learn more about death and maybe get a lesson or two about life out of her but I guess not?
@1241Aprilstone2 ай бұрын
I wish she had more of a proper exit. I’m okay with Rio having surrounding mysteries around her as she is death, but yeah the tone shift from grand boss battle to nowhere to be seen is a bit jarring.

The ending didn't quite land for me personally. (Nothing to do with Wanda. Never expected her.) It felt too much like the end/prologue to a Wiccan show and very little like a satisfying conclusion to this chapter of Agatha's life. And I LOVE Wiccan. I think Joe Locke did a wonderful job. I just wanted... I don't know... More from the Agatha story at the end. Ultimately, I think the Rio/Death stuff fell flat for me at the end. It was just so straight forward... "What you saw on the tin four episodes ago is exactly all there is. But now you get to see it play out." I wish the Nicholas Scratch stuff wasn't telegraphed so hard so that it maybe would have felt like a long awaited revelation instead of an "Yes. Obviously that's what happened. You already told me. What? Nicholas wrote the ballad? That's cute. Anything else?" I kept waiting for Nicholas to accidentally open the road. But turns out...that was impossible.
@hixdus2 ай бұрын
I agree!!! Big Wiccan fan, Big Wanda fan here also… Glad to see them here even though I wasn’t big on Joe Locke as Wiccan. You nailed it. Would have loved to have had more interaction with Agatha, through the series and especially in the final. Kathryn Hahn did an amazing job. Nicholas was confusing to me and I think I ended the show with more questions than answers… other than Wiccans. It was the build up of who he was, only to find out that they didn’t carry out it out to full potential - and Kathryn Hahn delivered where ever she was present. Rio Vidale was quite grand as well. I do have to say my favorite of all the characters was Agatha (wish there more of her) and Lilia was so complex, but such an enjoyable character!
@joellegillespie852 ай бұрын
This is how I feel. Agatha’s arc still feels incomplete to me even though this was supposed to be her show. Like I feel like her characterization came at the expense of setting up Billy’s future in the MCU, even though a lot of Billy’s story could be worked out in future marvel projects.
@1241Aprilstone2 ай бұрын
Omg you put into words how I feel. Thank you. I honestly could have done without the marvel formula of big boss battle at the end with tie into a future project cuz I personally enjoyed the self contained story more. This is why I loved episode 4& 7 the most cuz they focused so much on Alice and Lilia. I was hoping the ending would do the same for exploring Agatha. Yes, we got backstory on Nicholas, but it felt like I wanted more. Agatha All Along is still amazing and prob the best Disney+ Marvel series for me besides X-men’ 97 just above Wandavision. I think what I personally enjoyed about this series is the creativity of the trials themselves, the mystery, character focus, and the campiness. Those are the aspects of the series I am going to take away. This is me as someone who loves superhero’s and loved Marvel growing up. I’m not interested in the set up for Wiccan (which is why I thought Billy showing up in his suit was out of place) because this is not his show -just his debut.

Awesome Video Grace!!! I LOVED THESE EPISODES SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!! A Perfect Ending to This Amazing Show!!! Not necessarily The Ending I expected, but in The Best Possible Way. They stuck the landing unlike a lot of other MCU Shows. Aubrey Plaza was So Great as Death She's Having So Much Fun Playing This Character and I Hope we see Her again in The MCU Absolute Perfect Casting. And it was Awesome to see Billy Finally get His Full Comic Accurate Wiccan Costume!!! Agatha sacrificing Herself to Save Billy was a Beautiful Ending for Her Character while also leaving the door open for her to Return as a Ghost which I thought was Perfect. And even though I wish we had gotten to see Flashbacks to before Agatha killed Her Coven and how She Met Rio and how Their Relationship began, I still Loved getting to see the Backstory of Agatha and Nicky it was So Sad when He died R.I.P. 😭 And I Loved how they Set up Billy and Agatha to go find Tommy at The End! This Show was Absolutely Phenomenal it Ended up being One of The Best MCU Shows Ever and I Really Hope Marvel makes more Shows like This. Thank You, Jac Schaeffer and Everyone involved for giving us This Incredible Show!!!

I liked the show overall but was pretty underwhelmed by the finale. Not really a fan of the Road being something that Billy created, and thought the backstory with Agatha was pretty mid. Wanted to see more of her and Rio's history, as they're the characters I found most engaging when on screen together. Why was Agatha so determined to kill so many witches? Ostensibly for 'power' but what did she use that for? IDK just overall thought that by the end most of the characters were marginally less interesting than they were at the series premiere.
@yashkaushik65402 ай бұрын
YES. Episode 7 was the best... don't like the idea that the witches road wasn't real. The flashback with Agatha and her son really dragged.I find it really hard to root for these characters knowing they've done such terrible things. Plus why do we not get more payoffs.. so much build up leading to nothing.. Tommy should've been in the finale.
@1241Aprilstone2 ай бұрын
@@yashkaushik6540 I agree there were some things built up that needed more of a payoff for me to be satisfied like someone else mentioned that Billy didn’t reconcile with his identity in the end. I think some of the unanswered questions and plot points were left as is to be explored in future marvel projects tbh. Like Billy with his ongoing internal struggles with identity and now with guilt over his powers killing three innocents. Agatha maybe could be expanded on in the future in her mentorship role but this was the series and the time to go all in to explain Agatha’s whole lifestory (first encounter with Rio, their love story, and stronger connection between Agatha and Salem 7). The emotional build up of Jen being bound only for her to whoosh and exit stage left happened all too fast for me. I wanted Jen to be the one that bound herself as that was more compelling to me rather than everything leading back to Agatha. Imo, Agatha and Billy did not need to be behind everything for the finale to be wrapped up nicely.
@dante69852 ай бұрын
To answer your question: I'm speculating, but not (just) for power, she didn't want to face Nick in the afterlife. So she kept having to take lives for Rio to keep Nick alive. Once he got a clue of that he asked her to stop, and he passed. So at that point, she could either stop taking lives and die (and face him) or keep going. She tells Billy at the end she's afraid to face her son (probably to be accountable for all the daughters she took). As she says, dying was a "calculated risk". She didn't know what would happen, but to her (probable) relief she was a ghost and doesn't have to face her son yet.
@erikstevenson85082 ай бұрын
@@1241Aprilstone Yep agree with your conclusions. Maybe the plan theoretically was to provide more backstory and wrap up threads in future shows/movies, but if so, it's a bad one. There are SO many projects we already know about in the MCU, and so many plot points that are already set up to continue (some already from years ago), that setting up a spin off of a spin off show to tell more backstory of the now-dead Agatha outside of the show called Agatha All Along would be just insane decision making.
