So hyped for this series, it looks fantastic. After almost 20 years of dreaming i finally get my favorite character on screen, Joe is going to do so well in the role.

I think Tank is right. A lot of the hate this is getting on right now is from marvel die-hards who want specific projects and for the overall marvel storyline to progress, and are annoyed that this exists because they see it getting in the way of that. The thing is, most people don’t keep up with the mcu anymore. They might see a project if it’s good, but they won’t be seated for the flops. They don’t care how it ties into the overall storyline, they just care if it’s good. I don’t know if this project will be good or not (i hope it will!) but I don’t think it not being full of super established characters is to its detriment. It actually feels refreshing. And it means that if some non-MCU fans see trailers for it and look into it, they don’t have to feel like they need to watch hundreds of hours of movies and tv shows to enjoy it. Which I think is particularly important for this show because it has the most non-MCU appeal of any D+ show as a supernatural/witchy show. I think this show could serve more as a funnel into the MCU than a lot of their other projects, which is something they desperately need right now: fresh audiences. It will still connect to the main storyline, even if Wanda isn’t there I’m sure it will relate to her, and almost definitely introducing at least one major comic book character. So it could potentially bring people in and make them want to see other upcoming MCU projects, without having the intimidating barrier to entry a lot of other Marvel things have. Also… and as a vfx person I can’t believe I’m saying this… but the fact that they are leaning away from huge CGI environments and taking a more grounded approach will likely appeal to people. Especially the people who looked at the trailer for ant man 3 and went “nope I’m out.” Lastly, I don’t think the star power in this should be underestimated. Maybe Agatha the comics character doesn’t have enough to carry the show, but Kathryn Hahn as an actress does. You also can’t go wrong with Aubrey Plaza as a witch (and maybe even as a villain?). And then the rest of the cast is superb as well. I know Marvel has had bad projects with great casts, but it is a factor and it will encourage people to watch.

This looks like it will reach an audience beyond the MCU just like Wandavision. A lot of Heartstopper fans will be watching for Joe Locke, and horror fans will be watching during Halloween season.

The trailer def looks decent agree it showed enough to make me interested and think that it coming out in September around the horror season is perfect as there were some great horror vibes great reaction guys

For me the fluff should be on Disney+. The random don't matter marvel stuff stream it, the important main story stuff on the big screen. But I'm liking the trailer for this one. Kinda spooky fun, like a marvel hocus pocus. -Tank
