Also, I’ve noticed that in age gap relationships, the older person almost sucks the youth out of their partner.. bc they end up looking great and the younger one ages a lot faster 😭 Every time. Idk what that is. I don’t like it.
@FaithAnswered7 күн бұрын
Definitely something too it, I had one ex say “you keep me young” I clocked that so fast especially as someone who recognises energy transfer (I need to recoup & spend time with God if I’ve been with people for awhile) so definitelyyyyyy some truth to this!

i totally agree that the age difference can take away from you. I am Mexican and my aunt shares her story of getting married with a guy 10 years older & feels like he robbed her years as he has already lived his life and wants to "chill" and she is just starting to live her life.
@Aggie4life773 күн бұрын
10 years is not bad. Well I guess it is if she’s 20 and the guy is 30. Once both people are over 25, I don’t see an issue with that gap.
@gabbylicious_6 күн бұрын
When my Dad died, my Mom was able to get survivors benefits ($) for us 4 children. It was a major help. If my parents were not married, we wouldn't have gotten shit. That is just a small example of benefits of being married. Sometimes the worst does happen ladies, and marriage is not just a piece of paper.

ANOTHER GREAT EPISODE! I really loved hearing both of your perspectives. The don’t have a baby unless you can do it on your own is MOST DEF something that would only be said in America and I actually think the same thing. And my reason is because “if I let this happen, am I going to rely on a man that may or not be around” I think it’s more so for the women’s protection BECAUSE OF THE LACK of accountability men have for creating a baby. It’s horrible. You guys hit it right on the nail! If only other people thought like this

I feel like the end is relatable for Wendy ortiz. So many people come for her and she’s literally just trying to hustle hard for her daughter. The things people say about her are so unbelievable sometimes.
@CookieFridays8 күн бұрын
Y’all got real with the “marriage is just a piece of paper” part, hahaha. I also don’t understand why people say that, they just say it to make themselves feel better about not being able to take the next step. If they don’t want to get married then fine, be happy without worrying about it, but let’s not reduce it to a meaningless piece of paper. Let’s not act dense and say “a guy can leave you whether you’re married or not”. As true as that is, a guy willing to commit to marriage will think way harder about leaving, and is probably more of a committed person just based on the fact that they decided to make that commitment in the first place. Yes there are very committed men in long term relationship without marriage but it’s more rare I think. Like if you’re trying to set yourself up for success, ideally you would try to marry before having multiple kids etc 🤷🏽♀️

I love you guys so much but I just want to say sometimes people find themselves in bad relationships or even in a relationship they are unhappy in because of their up bringing. When Yas says she just doesn’t get it, it’s because you guys thankfully have a loving good family. Sometimes people come from sad broken families and once they feel love from someone else they want to hold on to it. No hate just food for thought 💕

Ya’ll came CORRECT on the topic of age gap. I have soo many thoughts! One being i think an underlying reason for men to normalize going for really younger women is simply a fetish and they dont wanna admit that they dont wanna go for someone closer to their age. It’s also really selfish because the huge age gap could insinuate he might pass before she does and now she is a widow at a younger age… again may sound extreme but let’s normalize men not putting an expiration date on women and seeking women closer to their own age.

I know someone who is fairly conservative, he’s not doing nothing behind anyone’s back. Anyway he liked a girl who wasn’t conservative and he decided that he didn’t want to proceed further with her because he didn’t think it’s fair she should have to change in any way for him and he wanted her to dress like she wanted and do what she wanted. I thought that was very sweet and mature

There is actually a reward to the mother struggling as a single mother or a mother in general. It was narrated from Mu'awiyah bin Jahimah As-Sulami, that Jahimah came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! I want to go out and fight (in Jihad) and I have come to ask your advice." He said: "Do you have a mother?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Then stay with her, for Paradise is beneath her feet." The meaning of this Hadith is that the proper treatment and respect of our mothers “No matter what their religion is” could be a reason to enter Jannah. This life is just a test and temporary. May Allah guide us all and help us to be always there for our beloved parents.
