I remember a guy calling my home day and night when we had a house phone and he would always say the same thing until my sister finally spoke to this guy that was obsessed with her and when she hung up she was terrified because he had threatened our whole family and told her he knew where she worked. Well long story short we called the cops they came but said they couldn't do anything because he didn't physically hurt her and told us to screen the call and not answer anymore 😑 but basically said until there is physical evidence of a threat they couldn't do anything. You will make it through the mental stuff (which I felt was the worse part for me, especially to prove in there court system and to those whom have never gone through this).
