Same! Being in my 30s now, an age gap for me is in 40s. And I am gravitating towards books where the characters are in their 30s+.

As a 43 year old 36 is not old, it's like if you're over 30 your old now. I love age gap but don't like when the younger person is immature though.

My favorite age-gap romance book til this very day- still is and always will be Birthday Girl by Penelope Douglas!!! 😆💕💕📖💕 Sweet Spot caught my interest, I don't see much romance books featuring golf so thisll be new and fun to check out. I'm almost finishing up Older by Jennifer Hartmann. It's a great book so far, you should try it! The female main character falls in love with her best friend's dad. The story happens in the 90s so I love it, there's also a connection to Oasis and Wonderwall 😉

I just read What was Meant to Be by Q.B. Tyler and that one was so good! One of my favorite age gaps ever is Don’t Kiss the Bride by Carian Cole. It might be because that was my first ever age gap, but I just love how sweet the hero is to the heroine, and he’s just trying to help her make a better life for herself and get her help that she needs! 💜💜

I came across something I hadn't seen before--an age gap novel written by a male author largely from a male POV. Totally different approach to the standard age gap trope. She is a financial analyst in her late 20s. Self-sufficient. He is a retired detective. They are neighbors. Large age gap set in a paranormal setting (not romantasy, but paranormal, world hopping mystery). Do you know of any age gap books written by men or the male POV? Seems like an underrepresented take.
