A piece of hard work indeed -- an enormous amount of scholarship has been employed , through ages and for centuries , to delve into the private life and the sex life of the Prophet s along with those of Hazrat Ali r and Hazrat Hassaan r . Quite unfortunately for me , it is absolutely mysterious what Imani and ikhlaqi purposes and missions motivated Imam Bhokhari r and others into compiling and preserving these narrations . A few more words please : a paper has been presented reportedly at Oxford University challenging the veracity of the 6-9 year age marriage narration . Further , I do not find , in this discussion , any mention of the Hadith that it had already been arranged for Ayesha r to be married to someone else some time before Nabi Karim's proposal to marry her and also that he r had needed someone to look after his household after the passing away of Khatija r . If so , a six year old doll playing child to maintain household ! Did Abu Baqr get all his daughters married at 5 or 6 ?

Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Zubair has claimed that hadis pertaining to age of Ayshah RA is also quoted by some madni ravees. Shaikhul Hadis Allama Habibullah Kandhlivi in his book "Umr e Ayshah RA ka tehqiqi jaiza" says that life of Hisham is divided in two parts. He lived in madina up to 131 hijri at 71 years of his age and in Kofa(Iraq) uptil his death in 146 hijri at age of 86 years. After scrutiny of all ahadis in all hadees books it transpires that nine Ravi of this fake story belonged to Koofa and four to Basra. No ravi of 6 & 9 years age story belonged to Makka, Madina, Shaam(Syria), Miser(Egypt) or any other part of islamic world of that time. Names of Koofi Ravi:- 1) Sufyan bin Saeed Alsori 2). Sufyan bin Ainia 3). Ali bin Masehr 4) Abu Moavia Al-Farid 5) Wakih bin Al-Jarah 6). Younus bin Bukair 7). Abu Salma 8). Hammad bin Zaid 9). Abdah bin Suleman Ravi of Basra 1) Hammad bin Salma 2). Jaffer bin Suleman 3). Hammad bin Saeed 4). Wahb bin Khalid Dr. Hafiz Zubair sb is requested to check facts from the books of Asma ur Rijal about this claim of Allama Habibur Rahman Kandhlvi. His book is available on internet.

@Dar Shahid Name the ravi from Makka. Ravet should be correct content-wise and sanad-wise. It must complete the scrutiny parameters of Asma ur Rijaal. No ravi should have linkage with above 13 ravis of koofa & Basra. By the way if adequate authentic evidence is available in support of Hazrat Aysha RA to save her from any stigma then we may adopt the same line instead of proving negitivity into positivity and exceptions into general rule. In surah Ahzab Allah has attached sanctity to ummahatul momneen who will be wives of Nabi Pak in jannat too.

ماشااللہ سر آپ نے مسئلہ جو کہ سب سے زیادہ تنقید کا ہدف بنا رہتا ہے درست کرنے کی کوشش کی اور آپ ماشااللہ کامیاب ہوئے۔ سر عدم جواز عدم وجود پر مستلزم نہیں ہوتا مگر اگر جواز مل جائے تو وجود مستحکم ہو جاتا ہے۔ پھر مسئلہ یہ پیش آتا ہے کہ لوگ موجود چیز اپنے اوپر لازم کرنے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں یا ڈرے رہتے ہیں جس سے تنقید کا دروازہ کھلتا ہے جو کہ ایک معتدل رویہ نہیں ہے ہر جائز چیز لازم نہیں ہوتی مگر ہر لازم چیز جائز بھی ہے دین میں جیسے اللہ کے رسول ص کے سامنے گوہ یا سانڈہ کھایا گیا خالد بن ولید ر ض اور عبداللہ بن عباس ر ض بھی موجود تھے سیدہ میمونہ کے حجرہ میں آپ کھانے ہی لگے تھے کہ آپ کو روک لیا گیا اور صحابی نے آپ کا فتوی بھی طلب کیا کہ کیا یہ نا جائز ہے تو آپ نے مانع حکم نہیں دیا اور کہا کہ یہ میرے علاقے میں نہیں کھایا جاتا اور باقی دو مذکورہ اصحاب تناول فرما گئے اور آپ خاموش رہے جس سے مذکورہ شے کے کھانے کا جواز تو ہے مگر لزوم ثابت نہیں۔ بعینہ سورة طلاق کے اندر وَّ الّٰٓـِٔىۡ لَمۡ یَحِضۡنَ کے تحت وہ کم سن لڑکیاں جن کو حیض آنا شروع ہی نہیں ہوا ان کی بھی عدت مذکور ہے جس سے کم سن لڑکیوں کا نکاح اور شادی کا جواز تو نکلتا ہے مگر قرآن نے بھی صراحتاً اور بے غبار الفاظ میں یہ نہیں کہا کہ کرو شادی لڑکیوں کی کم عمری میں۔ حضرت عائشہ ر ض ہو سکتا ہے جوان ہوں اس وقت تک جب ان کی 1 یا 2 ہجری میں رخصتی ہوئی ہو کیونکہ کچھ لوگ یہ بھی دلیل دیتے ہیں کہ عرب کی آب و ہوا گرم ہونے وجہ سے وہاں بچے جلدی جوان ہوتے ہیں تو اس تو وجود مستحکم ہو رہا ہے نہ کہ ضعیف۔ اگر معاذاللہ اللہ کے رسول ص پر کوئی طعن کرے تو قرآن تو وجود مستحکم کر دیا جیسے حضرت عائشہ ر ض کی عصمت میں آیات نازل ہوئی تھیں طعن کرنے والے پاس رد میں دلیل ہو نی چاہیے۔ ھشام بن عروہ ر ح والی حدیث پر میرے ناقص مطالعے میں جرح ہے کہ ان کے عراقی دور وہ سوء حفظ کا شکار ہو گئے تھے اور اصولاً ما بعد عارضہ سوء حفظ روایت قبول نہیں کی جاتی ۔ واللہ اعلم۔

نسائ میں ایک روایت موجود ہے جس میں حضرت ابوبکر اور حضرت عمر نے جب حضرت فاطمہ کا رشتہ مانگا تو رسول اللہ ص نے یہ کہہ کر انکار کر دیا تھا کہ فاطمہ ابھی چھوٹی ہے۔ اس سے یہ بات تو واضع ہو گی کہ جو لوگ یہ کہتے ہیں کہ اس زمانے کا رواج تھا کہ چھوٹی عمر میں ہی نکاح کر دیتے تھے یہ دلیل غلط ہے اس زمانے میں بھی اتنی کم عمری میں شادی کو مناسب نہیں سمجھا جاتا تھا ۔

Why are you so much concerned with the early marriage of Mother Ayisha when she had no objection for such marriage or her parents had no objection for her marriage in early age of nine years or she was eighteen years on her weding. It is surprising that none among the Ahali bayat did not record her age on her weding. We we are not concerned with the merits or demerits of this marriage when the couple enjoyed their life in love and affection that was never seen in the life of prophet pbuh. after death of . Mother Khadija and his uncle Abu Talib.

Main hafiz sahab ko bahot hi unbiased aalim maanta hoon lekin aaj aapne one sided baat ki hai, aapne saara jor ek tarfa laga dia. Halake ke opposive point of view ke saath aapne insaaf nahi kia. Aapne jo daleelen unke taraf se pesh ki hai woh kamzor hain lekin majboot dalilon ko ya toh aap jaan boojh kar skip kar gaye ya shayad aap ke ilm me nahin hai. Ayesha r.a ke bahan asma r.a ke age ko nazar me rakh kar bahot strong daleel hai jisse saabit karte hain woh log ke Ayesha r.a 17/18 ya 19 ki thin lekin aap ne ispe baat nahi kia. Aap bahot saare KZbin pe videos maujood hain unko dekh liye phir aap ko samajh aayega ke daleel dono taraf se majboot hai . Sahi bukhari ke raavi ke upar bahas hai , is liye aapne circumstancial evidence istemal kia lekin aap doosre taraf ka circumstancial evidence ko ignore kar gayen. Dono taraf ke baaton ko rakhiye phir boliye.

Dr. Sb you have opted to defend Bukhari instead of Holy Prophet PBUH which is gross injustice and could not be expected of from a personality of your stature. The conclusion of your research is not well thought, well researched rather faulty on following grounds: 1) Child marriage, being an offense and bad thing, is prohibited in all religions, cultures and Societies. While justifying its tenability, you have not specified any religion, culture, society, any person (sehabi/non sehabi) who did marriage with a 6 year child in that era. Sanctity of Holy Prophet is millions of time more than the history included in Bukhari which was compiled after 100 years of completion of islam. No stigma can be attached with the personality of Holy Prophet on the basis of even dalil e zanni because sanctity of Nab is proven by dalil e qati what to speak of history! Hadis qoli, fehli or taqriri has nothing to do with the age of Aysha RA because no where Holy Prophet himself revealed age of Aysha RA. 2) 2210 ahadis are delivered by Aysha RA. A good number of ahadis pertains to Makki life of holy prophet when she was 3-4 years of age as per Bukhari narrative. What is the validity of all those ahadis of Aysha RA when she was a minor child. Why all those ahadis are included in ahadis books when she was not borne or a minor baby in Makki period? 3) Well known earliest historian Imam Muhammad bin Jarir Tabri in his book Khilafate Raashda, jild 1, page 33 says that Abdur Rahman and Aysha from Roman bint Aamer second wife of Abu Bakr RA were borne before the advent of islam in era of jahliat. It means that at the time of marriage age of Aysha was around 15 years 4) In his book Albidaya Walnehaya, Allama Ibne Kathir jild 8, page 346 says that Hazrat Asma died in 73 hijri at age of 100 years and she was 10 years elder than her sister Aysha. 5) Ibne Hisham in his book Seerat Ibne Hisham jild 1, p.159 says that among children Aysha included woh accepted islam at initial stage with Abu Bakr & Khadija RA adults 6 There is consensus of all historians that Aysha died at 67 years age. Imam Zahbi in his book Ser Ahlaam lil Nabla jild 135/2 p 11-12 says Aysha RA died in 50 hijri which means at the time of hijrat Nabvi she was 17 years and at the time of nikah 19 years. 7. Hadis no 2&3 of first chapter of Saee Bukhari "Kitabul Whi" Aysha is Ravi of condition of Holy Prophet on the nazul of first whi in cave of Hirra which means she was sufficiently mature to understand and preserve quotes of holy prophet. Non discussion of these ahadis of Bukhari seems biased and arbitrary conclusion. 8. It is a well known Hadis that Holy Prophet announced that only 15 years and above people can participate in Ghazwa e Badr. Aysha RA participated in the said Ghazwa becoz she was above 15. 9. Thereafter Aysha RA participated in Ghazwa Ohad and and performed the duty of bringing water for mujahedin from Madina along with other women. Can can such cumbersome task be done by a minor girl? 10. Asadul Ghaba jild 4, pages 377 & 380 suuggest that Hazrat Fatma RA was borne at the time of construction of Kaaba 5 years ahead of Nabuwat and was 5 years older than Aysha RA. which means at the time of Nikah shre was 19. 11. Syed Suleman Nadvi writes in his book Seerat e Aysha that last part/period of khilaphat of Amir Moawia RA is last lifetime of Aysha. At that time her age was 67 yesrs. Syed Suleman Nadvi further writes in the said book at page 111 that Hazrat Aysha remained widow for 40 years. Commjulative effect of both versions is that at the time of death of Holy Prophet PBUH, Aysha RA age was 27 which means that Aysha RA was borne 4 years prior to Nabuwat. It means at the time of hijrat her age was 17 and nikah held in her 19 years of age.

There were other cultures that allowed child-marriage. In fact the Jewish Encyclopedia places Jews in Yathrib and has marriage rules at that time that included "moher" (which was the root for mahr) and has "Option of Puberty" so girls could rescind unwanted marriages when they became adults. This is equivalent to khiyra-al-bulugh in Islam. So it is simply not true that other cultures have always prohibited contracting child-marriage. Hisotrically speaking there is some evidence: Minor Marriage in Early Islamic Law, Carolyn G. Baugh, LEIDEN | BOSTON, 2017 "Middle Persian civil law allowed marriage at age nine, provided that consummation wait until age twelve.[24]" ....... "Byzantine law required that a girl attain the age of thirteen before contract-ing a marriage. Whether she would have consented to the marriage or not prior to this age is deemed immaterial as she would have no legally viable consent to give.[22] All parties to a marriage needed to issue consent, including the groom, the bride, and her parents. In cases where a girl consented to intercourse prior to marriage it was assumed that she consented to the marriage itself and the families would then arrange it. However, if that intercourse occurred prior to the age of thirteen, the groom would meet with the law’s most serious punish-ments due to the girl’s assumed legal inability to consent.[23]" So the neighbours of Muhammed had prohibited intercourse with 9 year olds at the time of Muhammed, but generally speaking such prohibitions are only put in place if it has occurred. This Sunni writes: CHILD MARRlAGE IN ISLAMIC LAW, By Aaju. Ashraf Ali, THE INSTITUTE OF ISLAMIC STUDIES MCGILL UNIVERSITY, MONTREAL, CANADA, August, 2000 (escholarship.mcgill.ca/concern/theses/jm214q978 ) pp 106-107 [Medical Consequences of Child Marriage Modem Medicine shows that childbirth for females below the age of seventeen and • above forty leads to greater maternal mortality as well as infant mortality (London 1992, 501). It must he made clear that although conditions commonly associated with poverty, e.g. malnutrition, poor physical health and other negative circumstances may contribute to difficult births and bad health for young mothers, consistent findings indicate that the age factor plays a significant role by itself. "Even under the best of modern conditions, women who give birth before the age of seventeen have a higher mortality rate than older women. The closer a woman is to menarche, the greater the risk to both mother and child, as well as to the mother's future child bearing capabilities, for the reproductive system has not completely matured when ovulation begins". (Demand 1994, 102). Another problem seen more often among underprivileged women is that they develop fistulae which is often due to the pelvis not having fully formed. This can be caused by a complicated pregnancy or having intercourse at a very young age.28. This leads the girl or woman to have permanent damage and often she is shunned by her family and community (4). Although such a condition is preventable it requires a good health service and communications systems (S). Unfortunately, these are often not available in impoverished areas of the developing world. Knowledge of medical complications involved with early marriage cannot be considered "new" findings. Ancient and Medieval Medicine texts indicate that doctors were well aware of the physical harm posed to girls by early marriages and pregnancies. ……..In fact, not only doctors of Medicine but other scholars in Most societies had a clear understanding that intercourse should not take place before the menarche. Hesiod suggested marriage in the fifth year after puberty, or age nineteen, and Plato in the Laws mandated from sixteen to twenty years of age, and in the Republic he gave the age as twenty. Aristotle specifically warned against early childbearing for women as a cause of small and weak infants and difficult and dangerous labor for the mother, and the Spartans avoided it for just those reasons. (Demand 1994, 102) ] So there is no doubt in my mind that the orient allowed intercourse with 9 yer old in some places, despite knowing that girls occasionally died or got hurt. Islam was one of those regions/cultures. But it was known to be harmful to the young girls and it was known that those girls were too young to fully comprehend the risks of infertility, mortality and ifda (traumatic fistula). So anthropologists describe Islam as prioritizing sexual availibility while they describe some other cultures as "prioritizing safe motherhood". So the culture of the time knew the risks but prioritized making girls sexually available.

Asma r.a ka inteqaal hijrat ke 73 saal baad hua jab woh 100 saal ki thin.Asma r.a 100 ki thin 73 saal hijrat ke baad toh Asma r.a hijrat ke waqt 27/28 saal ki hongi.Agar Asma r.a 27/28 ki hongi hijrat ke waqt tab Ayesha r.a 17/18 saal ki hongi hijrat ke waqt. Nabi s.a.w ne Ayesha r.a se hijrat ke 1 saal baad shaadi kia iska matlab hai Ayesha r.a ka umr 18/19 saal ka hongi jab unka shaadi hua.
