In my 600 AD game, I played as Mecca and in sharp contrast with actual historical events, defeated the Byzantines and the Sassanids, but what was left of the Byzantines was conquered by the Avar Khaganate, but the Byzantines just kept on surviving, even right now, as the year 800 AD hits in my game, the Byzantines have made a comeback and taken over Italy lol

It's mainly because they somehow took Korea which has stupidly good provinces. They have an economy and population that rivals Ming somehow(Perhaps it's for giving Ming a rival). Also it's really weird. When I play, AI Ming always somehow loses land Mongolia or any of its weaker neighbors
