Wow when I played this as a child, I was such a defensive player that each scenario would take me several hours of turteling in researching all possible techs, slowly building up an army, while being under constant attack and then slowly moving the frontline to the enemy. Using this technique it can take a week to finish this campaign. And considering I was only allowed 1 or 2 hours of PC time per day when I was in elementary school in the early 2000s, it took me probably a full year to complete all the original campaigns.

The convert strategy at 17:08 doesn't work anymore on the HD edition! The transport ship will simply sink when converted. :(

Correct, it only works on the Age of Kings original game and was patched in AoC and later

It's because of the Heresy technology (Castle Age tech), which was added in the AOC version.

its a bug with age of kings. If green can not send you resources around the 6.40igt, it auto wins the campaign for you.

Its a old bug with age of kings version. I think it was to do with green and yellow being unable send resources to you then you auto win.

I guess Poland surrends because they are initially scripted to attack Bavaria, but when you make Bavaria resign they can't do anything to conquer the map for the AI

AoE2 HD can be bought from Steam AoC and AoK can be downloaded from the internet if your a pirate, if not you will need to buy a old CD of the game from like ebay or something..
