Since the patch I love to play Delhi in Land maps. It is not the same as launch sanctity but close enough to have tons of fun. Alternative fun build: Tower of Victory ram rush with archers+spears. Also HRE Play rate has exploded from my experience. Facing HRE all the time. And I like it.

It’s driving me nuts not seeing stuff within the Mosque influence. And they don’t have to be right next to it. Just as long as they connect the range keeps extending.

He had House of Learning (before patch) so I assume, he wanted it out of Mosque's influence, so he can have shorter research rate. (research bug before patch.).. Maybe ?

i feel you my man, i used to lay india in aoe3de, delhi just dosnt feel the same, aoe3de has so much to it. aoe4 feels meh so far

+1 is how it shows in aoe2... They could have added that before. But I think they wanted aoe4 to be different from aoe2. Now they realised how aoe2 has so many things right.

I like the dehli but you better have a plan of what you would like to do beforehand there can be a lot of micro with them.

They should give Abbasid a mechanic for double production, similar to oovoo, but a more nerfed version

What do you mean exactly? lets say at end-game, you're wanting max 140 villagers - that's 7000 food. Fresh foodstuffs( I think that's the right one) halves the cost for those 140 villagers. After investing in 3 total Town Centers, by the time you're at 80+ villagers, you've spent less than China for their 2 TC's + Song Dynasty. I'm curious what your thoughts might be for implementing such an idea to the already-existing mechanic. edit - I missed your main point of double-production for all units. Why not give a nerfed version of the elephant to HRE/English? A nerfed version of the Astronomical Clocktower to other civs? I think this takes away from the niche playstyle/gameplay that each civ has

scrub is an exaggeration. but yes, they dont represent how one should play against Dehli and therefore the game says nothing of Delhi's strength

@@Sarcasmonk erhh Building 4 blacksmiths in what, Feudal? I am afraid you rank well below either of the players... by a large margin. And no, the real problem in the HRE play was he let Delhi do what he wanted even though he could've adapted with his ~40% better eco.
