Hey, just wanted to ask, are you making the canon choices for Dawn of War deathless run (that is; winning factions in 1's expansions, the canon traitor in 2's expansion Chaos Rising and the slightly corrupted ending in the same expansion)?

@@honorablespartan For now I'm only doing the Dark Crusade expansion, which doesn't have any choices other than picking a faction and the one I picked were the Necrons. I can make a lot of good death and deathless puns when I'm playing with them murder machines :D

@@AmonsChallenges Thanks for the reply, if you want to extend it to the entire series from 1 to 3 (3 is definitely the weakest) it would be cool to compare the different factions to each other too. That could be an awesome tier list video when all is said and done.

If Retold doesn't change the campaign too much, I will try to do something else instead. I don't want to do the same challenge run twice, only differnce being graphics and a couple of tweaks. That being said, I was thinking about doing an extermination edition challenge run for Retold where I would ruin all the hard work the devs put into the game by trying to destroy every unit and every building on every level. I'd say this kind of challenge run will generally be easier than deathless apart from a couple of (mostly defense) missions, which are going to be pure pain, but I think I can make a pretty fun video out of it 😄

@@nnirr1 Literally was thinking that a few days ago... Either I'm going to make them an exception or I'm going to spend 5 hours on every Troy mission destroying those. Thankfully all Troy missions aren't time sensitve so it's definitely doable.

If they switch up the campaign (at least a bit), I will do it deathless again, if not then I will do another kind of challenge, but I will definitely do something

Just did the fourth norse mission (the one with waves of fire and regular giants coming from cave) and cheesed it, with a lot of patience. The giants won't start attacking until the Town center is built. Therefore if you send heroes on guerilla warfare and destroy all their structures. You win as soon as you build Town center. Yep, just easy as that. It wasn't a fun cheese

100% agree it wasn't, but it was a hellava more fun than having to actually deal with the giants that harras you all the time hahahah

I think if you put the underworld passage right next to the trojan gate you might’ve been fine on A Fine Plan 👀 That’s what the speed run route is 😅

Could be tbh, but in my defense, it was only my 4th deathless mission so I wasn't really expereinced with cheesing that much. And I definitely didn't watch speedrun tips and tricks until I have arrived to the Titans campaign, the first 3 campaigns were pure improv on my part hahahahaha

I don't wanna get my hopes up too much just yet. Every time somebody says a game is getting a remake my mind starts going to places like GTA trilogy My remake experience has been heavily tainted... Gonna try and see what the future holds before threading into these kinds of waters hahahah

How many units total did it take?

Not sure what you mean by units, but I can give an estimate that it was about 100 reloads per campaign on average, which is definitely less than I thought it would be tbh

Out of interest, was this on Titan difficulty?

Of course... I kinda have the philosophy that if a game wasn't completed on the hardest difficulty that I'm not sure if I can even consider it completed. Especially if it's a "normal" hardest difficulty and not one of those that force you to restart the game if you die once.
