They really fucked up with the mummies and medusae..

The level where you have to cut Osiris's head out of the tree was impossible for me to complete even when not doing deathless. I played Retold version and not even the highest difficulty. Only hard difficulty. Despite the Mummies don't have instant kill attack, they somehow feel stronger. I think it's because retold version is probably over tuned. The Mummies will attack you while you are downing their temples in Rotold. When their temples hit 50%, they spawn a bunch of mummies and undead minions. When the temple is destroyed, it spawns like 6 Scarab and their on death AOE damage is insane. Some Starship Troopers shit that is. Also, there are three temples, not two. The third one is the lower left corner. I think it was like that in your version too, since the Mummies came after you despite killing two temples. Anyway, the anitial force I am given is not strong enough to do anything. When I go to destroy a Mummy temple, I manage it at the cost of my entire force. And then enemy party arrives for my base, including the Mummies from the other temples. They come basically at the same time. If my party is spent after the first temple, there is nothing I can do. I hoped I could somehow bait Mummies and enemy player to attack each other, but they never did. And if I don't attack the Mummy temple, then I can somehow hold the attacks, but the Mummy raids are stronger. And eventually, the enemy overwhelmes me, because he is relentless, attacks with masses of Mythic age units and siege weapons almost from the start, and keeps getting stronger. And on top of that, the Mummies. And the best part is, the gimmick of that level is that there is no gold in your base. You start in Heroic age and have a big gold bank, maybe 2000. But it is not enough. If you want either priests for healing, to deal with Mummies or to deal with the enemy myth units, or if you want to build towers and strongholds, or build army units, then you soon run out of gold. If you advance to Mythic Age immediately, you run out of gold (and food) even sooner, and you get crushed by the enemy and the Mummies for lacking resources. What I didn't try was to attack the Mummy temples before I get the base. I may try that. But seeing how freaking powerful those temples are, guarded by like 6 Mummies, 6 Scarabs and maybe 10 or 15 undead minions, not counting those spawned from your dead units, I don't have much hopes. I used cheat and skipped ahead, didn't have patience for this.

Make brook and etiri at either a or s, get 5 of them via cheat and you basically have every armor at 100% from brook and insane damage boost from etiri, like you would have an unkilable superpowered army.

Medusas are more powerful than ever actually. They have 21 range, a powerful range attack, they one shot human units from 21 meters away with their special, and they destroy buildings faster than anything. Clearly the best archer of the game both in dps, range, speed. They destroy both armies and buildings. Just 10 of the is a free win

Kemsyt gets upgrades from both heroes and infantry as he is treated in original game, so with all infantry upgrades he gets quite powerful.

Bruh putting Walking Woods in B is crazy. Walking Woods is crazy when it comes to building damage. Watch any pro-play of Retold that use Norse Gods. They will all use Walking Woods to attack Town Centers and Fortresses because the numbers+damage does insane work against buildings.

Yeah, the Chimera is underwhelming, but it comes with one of the best god powers and more archer upgrades for your Hades build.

Yeah the fenris pack buff isnt as meaty as it was before, but on the other hand they do move faster out of the box (maybe end up a roughly the same speed with a full pack, but means losing some doesnt handicap the survivors as much), and are more beefy indeed especially against pierce damage. They are still goddamn pirhanas once in a group against archers or villagers, and able to outrun anything they cant outfight. That, and now they cost food, which is far easier to procure than gold in the lategame they are a part of, meaning spamming/replacing them way easier and less costy, which may be their biggest buff. I think they could still use a SMALL buff somewhere (they are a myth age unit goddammit!), but I think they are in a much better place than they used to.

I think Achilles deserves to be a little higher. You get him early and his horse can get him around the map fast enough to scoop up a bunch of relics

Isis Monuments get double favor when empowered. If worship Osiris then have your Son of Osiris (Age 4) empower moments for favor income will more than double and will generate to enough favor to get another Son of Osiris when its off cool down, then put him on monument as well and so on. Also worship Anubis (Age 2) for 25% favor generation. You can have 3 Son of Osiris within 10mins of hitting Age 4.

Should have made a God Tier so Supreme could be heroes like Arkantos and Gargar

I played all of the Titans campaign with pretty much destroyers only. It does feel like they were nerfed a little, but I dunno. I think a destroyer + fanatic + cheirobalista army would be super tough! You could have added the Guardian (statue) - definitely S-tier worthy. Don't remember if you added him in the myth unit tier-list or not Skult being in that tier is absolutely brilliant. Totally unexpected! Sad to hear this is the last tier list (for now), but I got my fill of tier lists (for now) I'd love the review! Also looking forward to the deathless run

You don't read the units stats, do you? Clearly the Hero Destroyer is very strong at attacking, even stronger that some heroes you put in C-Tier; doing 11.4 dps, times NINE on myths units, and times SIX on buildings Oo Plus that obvious 86% piercing armor you actually mentioned , it's a beast ! Some units also have divin damage too, it's pure damage which fully go through armors. Priests have that, and I love it !

Hey! Medusa's are S Tier by far. Sniping Critical Myth Units is absolutely fantastic and you gave them an F grade? Haha. They actually are superb, Just 10 Medusa's is enough to cut the enemy forces in half.

I think you're REALLY underselling the civilization specific god power cheats. If you're looking for a specific power, they're just objectively better than Pandora's/Zeno's. Honestly, I can't really think of a situation where I'd want to ever use the less consistent ones outside of just gambling.

I know this game is intentionally inaccurate, but i never get the greek hero groups. Bellerophontes was actually a grandson of Posseidon and in the game he's in the Zeus pool. Perseus was actually son of Zeus and he is in the Hades pool. Why? Harecles is ok in the game, but he should be the strongest one. I mean Heracles should have giant hack and some divine dmg. His 1.2 attack speed is ok but should have more hp and multiplier to myth units. Achilles should have regen and giant armor of all types and not so big flat hack dmg but good dps with about 0.75 attack speed but less multiplier to myth units. He is also in the Hades pool but he should in the Zeus pool due to his companions the myrmidons who were summoned by Zeus and in the beggining Achilles was favoured by Zeus. If there is no chance to Zeus pool then Posseidon pool. His mother Thetis was a nymph and sea godess at least she relates to Posseidon in some way. Back to Heracles without doubt he is the greatest heros of all time, actually the times of heroes ended with him. And you said only Gods allowed to S tier. Heracles was a demigod and became god. He was the only heros who entered the Olympos and became immortal. Yes he became a god and he was worshiped in Asia minor mainly. Man Heracles beated Ares and bondaged him into a keg! He actually can beat in HtH the injustify god of war! In strength he is in the same level as the Titan Atlas! Of course in an RPG he would have weaknesses like 3 intelligence:D But to be fair all the greatest myth heroes had 65 IQ like Thor and Samson.

It's a shame the Greek heroes are so underdeveloped. I mean it's borderline criminal on how weak Heracles is when he could have been a decent demigod hero with a strong knockback or ground smash ability so he could live up to his olympian level of strength. But I guess you aren't supposed to outshine the main character.

Campaign Ayax can one shot most units with this shield bash. He is definitely A tier!

They did gave some special passives to campaign heroes stuff like. Reginleif buffing nearby valkyrie, hersir and godi, Also Reginleif had and still has the strongest healing rate in the game, she can even out heal most damage during fights, Brook giving bonus armor value to all nearby units, Eitri giving bonus attack to all nearby units, also with norse rework Brook and Eitri can build houses now. Not much but it's something I suppose, Ajax gains extra divine damage alongside it's hack damage in some levels of campaign. edit for atlanteans: Citizen heroes also get benefits from armory upgrades and normal units still retain their line upgrades now (medium, heavy etc) which was not the case in the original. Young kastor not even getting a mention did gave me chuckle btw.

Brokk and Eitri actually has passive ability. Brokk got armor smith (increase armor aura) and Eitri have weapon smith (increase damage aura). You can see it by hovering to the small icon right of his portrait, so they are actually a beast if combined and teamed up with arkantos and army

reginleif potential comes from healing Id say, she has decent dps but everytime you send her with a group of heroes she focuses on healing and keeping them alive, which is something she didnt do in og version, I think this makes her even stronger cause she is the unit that heals the most I think.

Originally circe was extremely (god tier) strong, her attacks dealing like 1k or about that pr. hit, and it worked like Son of Osiris, where it would chain to nearby targets. Though her attack cd was longer than Son of Osiris'. But it seems like they re-did that. (Like there is one video on youtube where she goes head to head with Son of Osiris and beats him)
