Q: How do I get this mod?

Q: When will [insert thing here] be released?
A: No idea, whenever it's ready.
Q: What's going to happen when Age of Mythology: Retold comes out?
A: If it supports modding to the same extent as Extended Edition does, we'll port it over and continue supporting the mod exclusively in AoM Retold. If it doesn't, then we'll bug the devs until they give us the proper modding support, then port it over when they do.
Q: Will there be any kind of visual uplift?
A: That is not currently being planned, especially as the size of this mod would make a visual uplift tough for Steam Workshop to handle.
Q: Is this a fake video?
A: Nope, this is a real mod that is under development.
Q: Will this mod be online-compatible?
A: Yes, so long as the people you're playing with also have it enabled.
Q: I have an idea, can I tell you?
A: Sure, but we cannot promise that we'll use it or that we're not already planning on it.
Q: Will you make more videos explaining the various parts of the new civilizations?
A: We intend to, along with build orders and strategy guides. Eventually.
Q: Will you rebalance the five pre-existing cultures?
A: If we do decide to release a balance patch for the entire game, it will be optional and separate. Divine Edition does not, and will not, change any of the existing civs in any way (aside from picking gods, of course).
Q: Will there be tournaments?
A: If there is enough interest, hopefully. But not anytime soon.
Q: When will the Eldritch get fully custom models?
A: As the Eldritch are currently in a completely playable state with serviceable placeholders, their models and animations are a low-priority item.
Q: Should I ask you questions about the Return of the Gods mod?
A: No, they are a completely separate team of developers. One day, we'll join forces, but until that day, please direct your questions to the appropriate team.
Q: If the RotG Aztecs are playable, why aren't they in this mod yet?
A: Return of the Gods is an exceptionally complex and technical mod. This means that importing it is going to be quite difficult, and so is something we would prefer to only do once. In addition, developing the same mod in two different locations is a recipe for current-version conflicts, which is something all of us would prefer to avoid. And finally, many of RotG's most complex mechanics are done through VC scripting, which is made exponentially more complex when two people are writing scripts for the same mod independently.
Q: Who's your artist? I don't see any credits.
A: The art is AI-generated and so is completely owned by the development team.
Q: Will the Japanese have anime girls?
A: Fuck no.
Q: Can you please do the Hindus?
A: The Hindu gods are not part of Divine Edition and will never be part of Divine Edition.
Q: I asked for the Hindus and got called "kitten", what does this mean?
A: 😉

Man, I have to say it's so thrilling to follow around on the development of this mod! It's absolutely insane to see the process unravel, I used to dream of mods of that level added to the core game as a teenager. Keep it up!

As I thought, scary early game Civ. I can see how turtling could help but just as bad backfire depending on the situation. Definitely a Civ I need to know how to defend from.

This civ reminds me of the Hausa and Ethiopia from AoE3. You need to constantly buy cattle and sell them when fat for a lot of gold and wood and you need to hunt a lot since their farms suck unless upgraded a lot. Really nice mod, I love it!
