Yeah ! I've waited so much for it. I just hope they can find a way to balance the chinese or that they just scramble it entirely. I really look forward to play this game.

@@matthieumenard8149 I hope they just scrap it off completely. If they do keep it in it should be unrecognizable yet fit in with the game.

I am so happy that i found this video, even if i'm a few years late to the party. my siblings and I have been playing age of mythology for 20 years, so this game is very dear to us, regardless of how not so famous it is. this video is great and i'm definitely subscribing after having watched a few others!!

Absolutely loved this game, wasn't aware it got a second expansion! Might need to check that out. I still have my original discs for the original mythology collection and vividly remember loving the Atlantian campaign. It deserves so much better as it's the most fun & polished Empires game out of the 4.

They also redesigned some other God Powers in the expansion pack. For example, the Bolt God Power (the granted God Power from Zeus) killed all enemy units, including the most powerful ones (e.g. Nidhogg, the Titan, etc.) at an instant. They felt cheated that some of the most powerful units in the game were crushed down that easily. They redesigned it in way to deal collateral damage to the powerful units, instead of killing them on spot.

I played hundreds of hours on this game as a kid - I just realized I never touched the campaign once. I didn't remember it had one, though I remember unfamiliar things in the editor. There was so much custom and modded content I guess I was just never interested - I remember in particular an rpg where you played as a lone unit, gained exp and leveled, evolving into new units.

For some reason i always thought that Age of mythology was a rushed game.
@JohnLucPicard986 ай бұрын
Honestly me too. Especially for a game made in the early 2000’s. That delay really saved this game and all the on-site testing couldn’t have been better for them

Brings me back. I remember seeing the commercial for this game on tv right before christmas 2002 and being FLOOOOORED having grown up with Age of Empires games. I got it for xmas but not before sneaking under the tree xmas eve at night and looking subtly cutting into the side of the gift i suspected of being AoM and being right, quickly retaping it closed and being so excited i couldnt sleep the night hahaaha.
