I feel like Lance's for this Dragon build is sub. They're only slightly better on the charge than swords, but swords are so much better for subsequent fights. Great bat rep!

It’s heartbreaking to see Maik rolling his dice. First 2 battlerounds 1 cast of out of 8, not a single initiative all game… however, even with such terrible hands the trolls are far too good (and dragons have lost a lot of their fire power) Great report as always guys. Thank you very much

I'm still mid report so I don't know if this is caught, corrected or comes into play, but: Michael moves in the early turns to get everything affected by Trugg's ability and sneaky distraction. But sneaky distraction only affects enemy models that are fully within 12". 8:18

16:20 The dragons don‘t suffer the -1 to hit from counter fire, because you use the companion weapons. So hit on 2, wound on 3s. Great game, love Dragon lists. Maybe add Krondys for some casting and Endless Spells? He can give 2 rend via his warscroll spell and purple sun, which is much needed against these super tough troggs… PS: 1 hour battle report felt super fluid and easy to watch. Keep up the great work :)

Companions don't benefit from positive modifiers of friendly abilities. Think you'll find hard to convince hitting on 4+ instead of 3+ is positive modifier 😂

I just realised now that you can spend a cp and bring a unit back automatically through the shrine. I had the old rule stuck in my head where you had to roll a 4+ to get them back. Cost me a game last week against Kruleboyz when I couldn't roll a 4+ 3 turns in a row. 😬

Brilliant game getting to turn 5 against the trolls. Seeing them played I think I'm possibly going to stick working at getting my Skaven ready for a 1 day tournament soon. Would love to play my Trolls, but they just seem so powerful right now.

Ooh i fought two troggs lists in a tourney with blades of khorne. I was running 3 blood thirsters, skarbrand and a priest. Those suckers are really hard to chew through even with bloodthirsters. Their one weakness imo is that they are slow and power through + reploy was mvp for me in that game. Super neat game, was rooting for the dragons cus im a sucker for em, but it was a close game! Have you ever tried the big hero dragons like ionus or the drakesworn? Ive never seen anyone run them.

You have to do like 200+ wounds on a 3+ to lift it, not much you can do except run away from them and try to outscore them. Nothing will out brawl that list, maybe I dunno chaos warrior and chosen spam, or mass hit debuff and -1 attacks debuff something.

@@rotm4447 I beat them almost yawning with Maggotkin. My buddy's Troggoth list got smoked by Ogor Mawtribes and Cities of Sigmar. People have so little experience in the new AoS, that being surprised by something makes them believe whatever they got beat by was OP when it simply isn't true.

@@rotm4447 bloodthirsters can easily reach 3 rend. 4 if you are using the anti-infantry one. All trolls had vs my list was the 5+ward and lots of hp. I had to play keep away for the first 3 rounds cus bloodthristers arent super tanky. But by the end of the game i had tabled him. Thirster spam is v fun this edition.

just a mixture of different brands, basically for each pairing picked a color, highlight, shade and trim then airbrushed and drybrushed my way to a dragon flock.
