I don’t think you can have a command trait on Krondys. Nothing in skywing says you can ignore the Unique character rules (except for spells and prayers).

Enjoyable watch as always ^^ Genuine curiosity question, as I don't own this Dawnbringers book yet.. Does the army of renown let you take flaming weapon for Krondys? Far as I remember, unique units aren't allowed to take spells/prayers from the universal list.

Nope. There is no rules change for anything regarding unique characters. Though Krondys did get his own spell, (it’s reeeeally bad) you are much better off by bringing an endless spell.

New dragon subfaction looks like a blast! Don't forget that you can have Ionus use Bless (and smite), could have put a 6+ ward out on turn 1.

Hi! How did you get a one drop? I didn’t think you could fit the big dragons in any battle regiment… and no command trait either I thought? Same for flaming weapon: I thought unique couldn’t take any spell?

In the army of renown subfaction, the big dragons are battleline, so you have 1 leader (ionus), 3 battleline (stormdrake guard, krondys, karazai) and 1 behemoth (single stormdrake guard). This makes it a battle regiment :)

Yes the above comment is correct, the large dragons become Battleline, so fill those roles. You are correct regarding flaming weapon, unique characters can take spells as long as the lore says so, which most do; however the universal lore does not say this, so cannot take universal spells.

Just as a side thought, if you had put Ionus' flame into the general at the end, you would've been able to trigger the soul burn and maybe kill off the warsong at the bottom of 5 in Jeremys hero phase. I didnt catch how many wounds the Warsong had left exactly. It was a great game to watch tho

You can AOD twice because of the wording "without the command being issued", so basically tree revs command doesn't count

He's using the new "Draconith Skywing" Army of Renown that came along with Ionus. One of the special rules is that for every Draconith Hero you have, you may bring a single Stormdrake Guard.

If you make a casting roll and there is a 1 in there, and you throw a primal primal dice which is also a 1, then it is a primal miscast. So you need 2 dice to be a 1. Hope that helps 😀

No, this is a common misconception though. The rules say “… fought and slain units (IF ANY) have been removed from play….” So if you don’t slay, you S&F If you do slay, you remove the dead units before S&F But either way you can do it

The spell us unleash swarm of spites. Roll a # of dice = to the cast for each unit within 9, mws on 5s

It is a good spell, dragons have a 4+ spell ignore, so Jeremy was very lucky to do that much damage. He also rolled nat 12 both times he cast it. If he rolled normal like a 7 it wouldnt do much. Also is easy to unbind this spell for many armies and multiple armies have mw saves, spell ignore etc. So the spell is not as scary as you think. Jeremy just rolled well

In the core rules it says "because there are 4 monstrous actions and cannot do each 1 more than 1 time, the max is 4. However, skywing has 2 additional monstrous actions, so I think the cap would not apply. I'm terribly sorry, but: 1) Shouldn't the Kurnoth's with bows also use their ability to mortal wound on 4+ to Karazai? (Or I missed it?) 2) The Tree-Revenant "Sergant" can have 3 attack's with his glave. Why you used only 2? And yes - the Sylvaneth army is so beautifull painted. Press F for respect :)))

He did the mortals of camera, 2 additional mortals were added to Karazai bringing him to 7 wounds suffered. The tree revenant leader was -1 to attacks because of the ancient master of war ability on the big dragons :)
