I mean every procession would have them, i cant think of one that embodies fire more than others... Emerald host is a good call out though, I feel like you'd need direct orders from Olynder to corral several packs of these dudes

Okay listened to it. Great stuff! The ghost Fire beacons are such a cool idea to defend the Underworlds! Bleed an approaching foe dry over the miles and then turn their own dead against them! The Napoleon vs Russia scorched earth comparison is apt, that’s the vibe I get from NightHaunt on the whole is supernatural conscripts pulled up from the afterlife and thrown in mass at the enemy, either for defense of swarming offense where when they overwhelm enemies with numbers & fear they permanently haunt the ruins which gives incorporeal beings all the advantages and invaders trying to reclaim their fortress no protection. And of course the twisted mirror of church deacons is great and deliciously Nagash. Go to Gnarlwoods for trapped magic, artifacts & a crashed spaceship? Nah, just sending fire ghosts of priestly candle lighters & screaming burning grave-robbers to make a fire cyclone and burn it all for maximum death to feed me. 👻 🔥

Of course they will.it’s lauded as one of GW’s best modern games and reports say it’s far surpassed their initial expectations for it. That’s why they’re pumping out so many warbands, terrain and white dwarf scenarios & forces for it all the time.

These guys are awesome but I'm afraid to buy them. I had just finished getting all my units for a ravagers list, when they made the announcement that literally all the s2d cultists were going in the trash for 4th. I have multiple copies of some of them for this specific list and I was looking forward to giving it a try, as well as seeing how well it may translate into 4th. But it's not translating almost at all.. hundreds of dollars down the drain when I don't have a lot of spending money. Buying more warcry specific units for the sake of adding them to my existing armies feels like a massive gamble now.

I totally get your worry, losing those s2d cultists is such a weird move but I'm hoping that was specific to s2d as they still allow all the other warcry/underworlds in the main game

That sucks, a lot. However, remember this: the game is just an excuse to collect. Play the game you want. Use the minis you _love._ Use those awesome models to represent something else or use them as they are and play 3rd edition with your friends, put them on square bases and use them in Old World. It is *your* collection, *your* armies, and *your* choice of models. Don't get discouraged, ever 😁🙂
